Default dream that relates to real life?

a few nights ago i had a really strange dream, there are 3 parts i could remember, i am not sure if they were all connected, pretty sure 2 parts were.

Right, so i dreamt i was walking down the street with a few friends, and one of them offered me a cigar, i put it in my pocket then went into a house. The house seemed sort of familiar but different, and i said hi to a few people in there then there was a dog sitting on the couch, i waved to it and it came over to me, it was quite happy but then it sat at the other end of the room with its teeth bared, as if it was about to growl, but it just stayed in one spot, making no noise and not moving at all, it was just slowly opening its mouth, then someone pulled it through some patio doors behind the dog and shut the door, the dog was still in the exact same pose when it was outside.

So that was the first part, the second part was in my college i think, and there were a few of my friends there, and among them was this girl who i am not on the best terms with at the moment but i used to be in love with her, anyway, i got a guitar and started playing it to her, although i do not remember her reaction (i play guitar anyway).

I have dreamt of viscious dogs before but not like this, i have also had dreams about the girl before but before yesterday i haven't dreamt of her in about 3 months.

So are there any hidden meanings?

The cigar (in the context presented in) is the way that your subconscious mind is telling you that you are about to view information prepared for your enlightenment courtesy of your subconscious mind. It takes in information of every detail of your waking life and when it feels a need to comment on what it sees it scripts, casts and prepares a dream in which to convey the information.

The message is that you have been thinking about a situation in which someone is angry (it is not said who is angry) that there are feelings and emotions that are on edge. The anger is not actively being pursued or acted upon but rather it is smoldering, so to speak. It is likely that you are the one who is feels the anger but it innuendo is made that the other person is as well.... as the anger is situated a short distance away as appears in the symbolism.

Apparently you have nailed the meaning of this dream. You understand it...the question is what is to be done about it. Now, the dream, in the way it is explained, does not show extreme anger and the caution that should be taken as a result of high state of emotions (this would be depicted largely by a display of the color red) so it would not be considered a blatant warning dream. It is bring the awareness to you, that the situation (the emotions) are unpredictable and could be set off at any time.

It is shown that you want to resolve this situation...offering a song...seen as harmony in life.

If dreamt a dog tore his cloth means will have a loss.
If dreamt was eating dog meat means he will repel an enemy by another one.
If dreamt gave a piece of bread or something else to a dog means his sustenance will increase.
If dreamt had sex with a dog means an enemy will have views on him.
If dreamt a dog leaned on him means he will trust to an ignoble person and will help him at work.
If dreamt he was drinking dog milk means he will have a big fear and probably will fight with someone.
If dreamt a dog was running away from him means the enemy is scared of him and is careful.
If dreamt a she-dog entered his house means he will acquaint an ignoble woman.
If dreamt was hunting with a dog means he will receive a benefit from someone who claims for science.

Ah, yeah, i think the emotions are running kind of high at the moment, we are both volatile towards each other and it puts me in a dilemma, i could either-

1: Offer to make up, try and put the past behind and try and make a shot at being friends again.

2: Stay in this stalemate and try and get her to see what is happening by laying it all out there in front of her next time we are in an argument.

I kind of do want to end this but at the same time she has changed a fair bit and i am kind of worried about getting hurt.

Ok, sorry to double post, but i have had another dream relating to this situation, there have also been a few happenings in real life.

First off, the other day we were getting on alright, then i phoned her and asked if she wanted to be friends and she said yes, things have been going ok since then.

Now, this the last dream was last night, it was kinda disjointed i can't quite remember the order of events in it but i do remember specific parts vividly. The first part i was in what seemed like either a hospital, airport or train station (it looked very clinical, nearly all the walls were a whitish colour), i was there with a few other people and amongst them was the girl, she was also with one of her ex best friends (there was alot of drama between them which i helped her through) and they were getting on really well, i don't remember what happened but we were all really close.

In the next part i was getting chased by someone and i don't know who, it seemed to be through familiar territory but i was outrunning them with ease and seemed to do impossible jumps over obstacles like gates and walls, and was kind of enjoying it. There was another part but i can't really remember it, so, any help.

donender,

I will just comment after each sentence of yours, here.

Many dreams are disjointed, and for many reasons including the quality of sleep that you are getting, and possible interruptions while in REM sleep. The first part i was in what seemed like either a hospital, airport or train station (it looked very clinical, nearly all the walls were a whitish colour)Showing that many aspects of you or the person that you are (being affected negatively by what is going on in your life...in your relationship with your special girl but also with others...everything is connected) One person or event in our life, affects the person that we are, which affects everything in our life in some way). In your case the white is definitely showing the "ill effects" that anxieties in your life reflect upon everything in your personal universe ( connoted by the public locations in your dream). , i was there with a few other people and amongst them was the girl, she was also with one of her ex best friends (there was alot of drama between them which i helped her through) and they were getting on really well, i don't remember what happened but we were all really close. The bottom line is that you do care about those who are special in your life and you know that they care about you. The innuendo is that it is time to find a way to communicate more effectively, your feelings and emotions to those who you care about (and not just show how you feel by being in a bad mood). Through better communication your loved ones will be able to know specifically what bothers you, and anyone who really cares will try to work with you with those things in mind.

In the next part i was getting chased by someone and i don't know who, it seemed to be through familiar territory but i was outrunning them with ease and seemed to do impossible jumps over obstacles like gates and walls, and was kind of enjoying it. There was anothThis is what I call a summary dream in that it brings all thoughts presented thus far together so as to show in general (from a wider perspective) how they affect you. This is a great gift although seldom recogized for what it is! In your case the person chasing you represents fears or anxieties (all rolled up in one role player that chased you). Your dreaming mind ingeniously shows that you are quite adept at avoiding obstacles in life... this evasive agility is something that you have mastered. Rather than face obstacles in life (and resolve them) you tend to navigate over and around them. There is some positive value to this BUT the person that stalks you is in a 100% speed mode and this person represents all that you have avoided and navigated around. The innuendo is that somewhere sometime you will have to face your fears and the core of what caused you to "run".

we use dream symbols in the way poets use metaphors. Who would you describe asd a vicious dog? What issues from yesterday (a crucial time for triggering dreams) were in your mind?

------------------------
Dreams compare one thing to another. So do not be surprised if a dream about one thing turns out to be a dream about something entirely different. In fact you should expect a dream to be about something entirely different. After all a dream compares one thing to another. You would not expect a poem to use a line like "that beautiful sunrise was like a beautiful sunrise". Such a poem would clearly be ridiculous. A dream will use a metaphor to express its feelings.
