help, disturbing dream

ok, all I can remember from this dream is having some kind of sex...then other stuff happens and time passes (but I cant remember this part of the dream).
Dont know if the sex part is important or not, usually I cant/dont have sex dreams. If I start to I wake up or something happens to stop it.





Then im in my house, and i see this large female roach with a big egg sack (dont know if they have thouse or not), then I see another roach. Im confused because my house is new and clean and these shouldnt be there.
then I pull back my shirt and the inside is covered in roaches.


then im at my gig from last night at a bar, and its before we started playing and somehow I pull back my pants and I see a worm/maggot thingy...so terrified I pull it off me down there. Then there is another one, and another. then I look closely and they are IN My skin, burrowing in me there. There are lots of them. And they are all like two inches long and a half an inch wide. They are white and have little heads (or dots like heads or something). I try to tear more out and they crunch and break and only come halfway out.

then I wake up because this is the most horrible thing ever for a guy.

As they say in the blues....tell the truth. I see by your dream that your subconscious mind is telling you the truth, and in a fine and deliberate fashion! The subconscious mind tells it like it is, in a no holds barred way. So here we go...

The symbolism, insects, usually indicate that something is "bugging" you. Cockroaches are more specific in meaning, showing a need or drive for "cold sex"
(sex without any ties, or intentions toward a relationship). Your subconscious mind is bringing this sexual urge to reality by making your dream disgusting enough for you to remember. The worms embedded within your skin show what the risks are, as well as the fact that such sexual urges that you are having could lead to your demise. Consider the place that you first discovered the worms (in you legs). The legs depict the reality of the risk that you are undertaking (if you partake) and that they come with your direction in life.
Being a musician myself, I fully understand the risk that comes with the territory. There is always the women, not to mention everything else.
Your mind is simply saying, hey... I need your attention here! I need for you to be aware of the risks and that they can lead to your demise!!!
The mind can be so point blank...it usually comes in the form of blatant words and presentations...but I have witnessed times when the subconscious mind can create pain (real and measurable pain) pain beyond comprehension, when it does not get it's message across and get a response.

So now that the mind has your attention what should you do??
You can start by doing this quick exercise.
Just before sleeping, recall the dream that we are discussing here. Really take it in and then out loud and in your own words say something like this. (you are speaking to the subconscious mind).
I understand that you are real and part of me, and that you have my best interest in mind. I fully understand that I am in an environment that carries great risk. I will be careful and watch out for my physical well being. I appreciate that you are my mentor and friend any time you have information for me I am here to receive, decipher and understand it.
If you get more dreams like the one you had...try this exercise again. Sometimes it takes up to five tries but I have never known it to, not work.

Then...after you acknowledge the message in the exercise, be careful in your actions. This alone is acknowledgment to the subconscious mind.
This is a good time to realize that the subconscious mind is your mentor and friend. It's powers are incredible and we are just now seeing the tip of the ice berg (of it's capabilities). It's messages are real and they are life changing, I know this first hand.

well sometimes we worry about thinsg that are not there... so maybe this dream is showing you that you are perhaps not so pleased with life. That things that were filling you with good feelings are now unsettling you. Dreams capture often here today and gone tomorrow moments. Think of the mood you woke up in or the predominant mood from the day before - that has maybe influenced this dream

There is a tendency to see dreams as premonitions and the terrible things happening as omens for the future. yet such dreams can often be about the reality of our own feelings. We feel as if we are being chased by dogs. We feel as if we are on top of a skyscraper and about to fall to the ground. So such dreams are often about mundane and simple situations that at the time we exxagerate in our minds.
