Please help: boyfriend died in dreams

Hi, a few nights ago I had this dream that my boyfriend died. I can't remember how he died, just that he did, and people were coming to his funeral.

We've been together for 3 years, I've known him for 7 years. We live about 30 minutes away from each other, he visits on the weekend. I remember the hurt that I felt over losing him, and more of 'what am I going to do now". I met his parents in the dream, and they had no idea that he had a girlfriend, I introduced myself as his gf.

I looked up some dream analysis today, and it said that if I'm having dreams like this, I should leave the relationship; because something in me has died. I love him very much, and no our relationship isn't perfect....but I'm just wondering if anyone knows what this may mean.

Hi Mccha,
Often times, your heart will know what a dream is telling you. You just need to allow yourself to hear your inner voice. Maybe the dream is telling you what you found out through dream interpretation sites, or it's telling you of a new beginning.
You may need to really look within yourself and figure out how you really feel about the relationship.
Have you given up some important aspects of yourself to maintain the relationship, or does your bf support you moving forward with your goals and desires in life? DO you find yourself giving in to your bf over certain decisions? (no matter how big or small?)
Do both of you want the same things in the relationship?
