Default confusing and tiring dreams

Hello! I just registered so I can ask all you wonderful people about my irritating dreaming habits. I have always (at least for a few years) had very surreal dreams, they skip through subjects and characters and environments often, so its very hard to really remember what they're actually about. But due to this highly-surreal dream state I get very confused while i'm sleeping and wake up dizzy, confused and sometimes feeling intoxicated for the first few minutes I'm awake. There are nights that I don't remember any of these dreams and then there's the nights that I feel like these confusing, scary dreams last the whole night and I wake up with my head spinning, not knowing why.

I guess what I'm wondering if anyone else has dreams like this and if theres anything I can do about it... and why does it happen?

Thanks!

HI,
Some nights can be like that! Especially when I'm overstressed/overtired. Your mind is trying to process all the thoughts and feelings you've had, and make sense of them.

If you don't already, try to have a relaxing bedtime routine. Try to avoid eating anything heavy, or alcohol. Finally, tell yourself before you go to sleep, that you are going to remember your dream, and ask your inner self, "WHat message do I need to hear about tonight?" Maybe your dreams will seem more coherent, and will make more sense.

Peace to you,
