My Dream: Jumping down flights of stairs.

Hello,

I am so happy to have found this site because I have become more and more interested in dreams lately and believe I want to study the meaning and science of dreams.

The recurring dream in particular I would like help interpreting is this:

Usually as some part of another dream, sometimes with someone chasing me, I end up at a long set of stairs. It is inside a tall building with small sets of stairs that go back and forth for flights and flights. I always start out going as fast as I can DOWN the stairs. Then, I find that the faster I go, the more stairs I can skip. It is ALMOST like flying, but rather I find that eventually I can just take each flight in one jump as I hold on to the railing and just keep going down the flights, spinning slightly with each jump to be poised to jump down the next flight. In this dream, my feelings are usually anxious, but usually positive, because I know that I am going fast enough to get where I want to go or to out-run my chaser.

Has anyone heard of this dream before?
Does anyone know what it might mean?

If the ladder was wooden means his belief is weak.
If the stairs was of stone and iron means he will have some power and benefits.
If dreamt was going down stairs means he will lose some power and dignity.****88 or not achieving a wish.
Ladder or stairs may also mean overcoming the enemy but for dishonest people means he is hypocrite.

If the stairs was of chalk means a fault in his belief but will have dignity in the material affairs.
If dreamt went up to the sky and didn't come back means a death danger.
If dreamt went to the sky and was back means will get ill and will cure.

Well dreams link to reality in varying ways. If you could truly interpret a dream it would surprise you. It would link to some major issues but also some rather trivial thoughts... your moods nd your feelings.... the energies inside you... the wish to motivate yourself to this or that goal... its like a story of what you are feeling ... yet the story refers to nothing of the real life facts ... only the emotions...

But there seems a rather complex meaning to thiws dream. Yes you are being chased but it also shows you attempting to improve your own behavior.. jumping two steps...

I think this dream links more to you trying to get ahead of the rest... trey thinking about ways in which you tried to im[prove your own behavior and stay ahead of the opposition. That may have triggered your dream.
