Visiting a childhood friend-- seeing taratulas?

I had a dream that I went to visit a childhood friend. When I got to her house, she wasn't there, but I made myself at home. However, when she got back, she told me not to touch the litter boxes or white trash cans in the center of the room, because they were filled with tarantulas. I was terrified, but got over myself and sat down on the sofa to watch some tv. She changed the channel to the show "Lost", saying it is her favorite show (I have never seen the show or discussed it with her).

I don't understand what this dream could mean. Any suggestions?
