Help! Dream of being murdered

Hello all-
This is new for me, so here goes! My friend actually had this dream but it involved me! The story line is Me, my x-husband, my friend & her boyfriend! We are all out to dinner & her boyfriend gets mad at her (it is unclear why) & he leaves on the word that my x will get us home safe. Her next image is in his trailor (in real life: he doesn't live anywhere-he is in a rehab) as he is picking up a blunt object & knocking me out with it & then shooting me dead! He then comes after her! She noticed that her highchair (from her home i.r.l.) is next to her so she picks it up to defend herself. he takes it from her & knocks her out with the wood tray! She comes too & her vision is blurry, but she sees him standing over her with a gun! At that moment she starts whispering apologies to her daughter & that she loves her! In the dream neither her little girl nor my little girl were present at the trailor.
She said she woke up feeling actual fear-something she had never felt! We both are desperately looking for what this could mean!

Well most dreams if translated correctly would probably link to some thought or feeling prominent in our minds recently. I suspect that this links to her comparing boyfriends. Looking at her own situation and taking a serious look at her boyfriend. if he is in rehab it may suggest that he is not particularly reliable. That she perhaps could do better. Maybe she loves him but she is maybe having second thoughts.

My only other question would be what would it mean that she woke with the "fear of God" in her? She was actually crying & breathing heavy.
