Dream about my dad...

My dad passed away suddenly from a massive heart attack just over a year ago. I am still struggling with his death.

The other night, I had a dream where I was on a large stairwell, with a lot of people surrounding it. It was loud and busy, and then Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran came up and stood right next to me!! I was soooo excited, and asked him if I could get a picture with him. He said, "Sure!"

My mom and dad were there, and my dad was always the keeper of the camera. So, I asked him to bring the camera over and take a picture. I kept asking and as I was approaching him, I found that he was further and further away - and I couldn't reach him. Finally, as I started to get closer, he laid down, and I realized he was dead.



Can anyone tell me what this dream means? I have not had many dreams of my dad since he passed.....I'll post the others separately.

Dreaming of your deceased father if his clothes were decorated means your life situation will get better .It may take a two months time.

I believe you just miss your dad and his role within the family. You want him there for those exciting times in your life...you want to share with him your joy in certain matters. I am so sorry for your loss. It must be very difficult for you. Perhaps you can have a family memorial gathering to honor him. Be well dear.

I do miss him terribly, and I still am in deniel and feeling a lot of anxiety over it. Some days are better than others....

Actually, we had a wonderful memorial mass and luncheon on the one year anniversary of his death. I made a slideshow presentation, including pictures from his life - and included pictures that his grandchildren drew for him. Made a nice speech, and shared stories with about 70 of close family and friends.

I still struggle though....
