Hey guys,
The other night I had this dream where out of no where this wolf jumped up and bite me on the sholder. It was grey with yellow eyes and quite large. I could see him biting me over my sholder. I woke up quite quickly and could feel a strange sensation across where he had biten. Then the following night I had another dream in which I was trying to cross a forest with my partner and there were all these wolves prowling around the outside. All very similar looking to the one in my previous dream. Should I be worried? Last edited by lesadawn : 04-06-2008 at 05:47 PM. Reason: spelling error |

Quote:
In dreams wolves or other animals bite you where you already hurt. My guess is that you had some pain in your shoulder joint and the wolfe woke you up. You probably had your arm in an awkward position in sleep, or pulled a muscle the previous day. Cheers Wolfjk

Hi,
If a wolf devour someone means a seperation from husband , may be for a short time. Wolves are people who serve or peoples partners.

Both of these are good dreams which, I think, are trying to alert you ahead of time about a place in your life where you are perhaps vulnerable to attack so that you can take whatever actions you need to in order to be strong in that area. Perhaps you are already aware of the potential of an attack (suddenly, out of nowhere) from a predatory person or "thing" (wolf) seeking it's own gain at your expense. It bites your shoulder, which can be symbolic of your personal authority/power (we "shoulder" responsibility, we "bear up" on our shoulders, etc.) It may be significant that you noticed the wolf had yellow eyes. Yellow can sometimes relate to fear, cowardice, deceitfulness, etc. ("yellowbelly" for example). So, your wolf may not come at you directly because of fear of exposure, etc, but still has the ability to harm (biting) you.
I think dreams repeat because we miss the message the first time around. Your second dream replays the wolf/predator/devourer theme again, only this time it is intensified into a prowling pack! I think the dream may be encouraging you to be aware of some area of vulnerability (perhaps related to finances) in which someone/thing could take advantage of you. Just a few thoughts. Any of that resonate with what's happening in your life now? Have a good day. |
