Trying on bras in public, courage to stand for myself

HI,
Sorry this is long, but I'm hoping for some insight!
My dream takes place in a large mall that I've never been to before. I'm awed at all the places to see. I cannot remember who I'm with in my dream, but I believe it's family or coworkers.
We separate, and I want to go to some stores. I'm shopping by myself. I'm a bit undecided, and nothing interests me. I decide that I MUST go upstairs to see what there is.

I find an escalator. I go to get on, and I notice that even though I'm going up on the up escalator, others are going down on the same one. I'm the only one going up/

I get to the top, and see a store that I REALLY want to go into. I enter, and a saleslady on the left sees me and says, "Oh, no way! Not in that! No!"
I look down and see that I'm wearing a short black skirt, black tights, and black shoes. My tights have huge holes on the knees.

I feel ashamed and angry at the woman, and say, "To hell with you then!" I walk out. However, I feel like I had the right to shop in there. I gather my courage, walk back in and say, "If I want your opinion, then I'll ask. Otherwise, I don't want to hear it!" She look startled. (In real life, it would be very hard for mr to do that!)

I started looking around, and the saleslady was following me. She wasn't sayin g anything, but she looked as if she would jump at the chance to help me if I asked. I'm looking at the clothes, and they were VERY expensive.

I see a bargain rack toward the back, but as I go toward it, the store becomes somewhat dark. I can't understand why they don't have the lights on.
I'm looking through the rack, and pick up a red dress that I liked. The woman said, "You don't want that one. It's dirty, it's been used and returned."
I thought it was a pretty dress, but I put it back. I see another I like, but decide not to get it, because I was having one made like it (I am in real life.)

There was another saleslady there who asked me if my daughter would like a certain outfit. I said, no, she's only 11, and is more the t-shirt and jeans type.

I came to a rack of bras, and realized that both my daughter and I will be needing a strapless one for our dresses. I look through it, and decide that she and I will need the same size. My daughter appears, and she and I try on the bras, right there in the store. Hers doesn't fit very well.

That's where I remember the dream ending, I think.
