This I Really Need help With

I know that water is a powerful symbol in dreams but if only my dream would fit the dream dictionary context.


"I dreamt that I am at a party, The food is served. From a distance I spot deliciously cooked chicken and I am eager to have it. I step in to get some for myself. But what appeared sumptuous and delicious and a must have, was ewww, or just bones, i.e. left over bones [people already had it].

Then I eye sparkling fresh drinking water, so i opt to have that instead of this left over of bones. As I close in to the water, it is polluted, filled with dirt. Not at all fit for drinking."

From what I can interpret on my own, this silently tells me that all that I desire isnt what I'll get.

I think this dream is confirming for you somethings you already suspect to be true. Perhaps you have followed a way of life/career/spiritual path that promised an overflow of good things (banquet), but as you sallied up to the table to partake of the goods, you have realized the promises are hollow (bones, no meat). The implication is that you need to eat to live and grow, but there's nothing edible at this table! And, yes, water is a symbol for the Spirit of God, and your desire to drink that is good, but the dream is confirming for you that the spiritual teaching you are trying to receive has a polluted/compromised source and therefore is "not fit for drinking." So, perhaps the dream is encouraging you to find the true food and true drink that will really and eternally sustain you both physically and spiritually. Anything resonate with that?

yes, chicken means some money from a woman that you won't achieve.
Water may mean some money that you won't get.


If one was thirsty and found some water to drink means she/he will commit a sin.

So this is a negative dream.

Basically giving the message that whatever wanted will not be achieved.

The farthest I can keep myself from my desires of satisfaction, the better it is.

Surely you will have dreams later that will achieve your desires.
Dreams are not so philosophical,
Better to say they are not the reason that you are false or right.They only show what is on the way.Your soul understands something from the far or near future and shows you but in this symbolic language.

From your reaction, I think you may have received my thoughts in a way that I didn't intend them. The dream is not saying "you've wasted your whole life and you'll never find happiness." It is negative only in so far as it suggests that in one or two areas of life you may be settling for lesser things while you have the choice to pursue better/more healthy/truly fulfilling options. And of course, only you will know if and when anyone really nails the interpretation because something inside you will leap and you'll say to yourself "Yep! That's it!" Don't act on/accept an interpretation that doesn't give you that response.
