underwater but daylight ?!!!!

Hi, had a dream two nights ago that has stayed with me and i know means something but not sure of all of it. Part of the dream i was out in the ocean and was next to a boat (just saw the side of it but knew it was boat) and i was fully clothed but not for diving! i tried to put my head under the water and was wearing a nose clip (like when you are swimming in a pool). First attempt i thought i would drown so only put my head partly under water. Then i put whole head under water and could see below. I swam down to the bottom of the sea which was lovely, it was yellow sand, with greeny blue water then when i looked above i could see dark blue then the sky. I was aware i was walking on the bottom of the sea. I could breathe normally and talk , i spoke to someone else there but could not see them. I saw half way up metal spirals that were twirling up the way. I thought it strange but could see two or three around me. It was like there was a light on at the bottom of the sea cos i could see clearly round me. I looked down at my hand and i was holding dark red incense sticks. They had been partly burnt. Someone told me i couldnt take them back with me cos the salt water would make them unburnable. I tried putting them in a box but they wouldnt fit cos there suddenly seemed to be too many of them. Then i went back to surface. Then i was suddenly downtown. I tried to cross a piece of road but the road got wider. I looked to my right and saw a huge truck travelling towards me. I looked ahead of me again and an old boyfriend was sitting in his car. I asked him for a lift and he said no he couldnt help me. I went round to the back of his car and tried to the boot door which opened but then the car disappeared. I noticed that buildings that should have been in that part of town had been replaced. A huge white building was on my left, it was beautifully white and next to it a golden yellow building. I walked down the street and had to pick my way past people sitting on the pavement wearing i think pink or redish pink clothes. Then i woke up ...

The colours are important i know they are. The sea was amazing, the colours amazing, i was aware when dreaming this part that it was impossible to be underwater talking and breathing normally in real life and remember having that thought in my dream, thats how i knew i was dreaming!
