Default please help me analyze this dream....

So I had this completely bizarre and detailed dream last night.........

I usually don't dream at all, or at least don't REMEMBER my dreams. I bought a brand new pillowtop mattress last saturday though, and EVERY NIGHT since then I have been having dreams and remembering them. I guess that's a testament to the difference in sleeping on a quality mattress versus a bad one, but anyway....

I'm going somewhere, just walking around, and this guy stops and picks me up and takes me to this house. He takes me inside and I remember asking "who's house is this?" Apparently his grandfather had just passed away in the house and it was his now. So he locks me up in this house and tells me I have to stay there for 15 days. I ask why and he says it's because I'm getting too involved with my new gf (in real life) and I have to stay here for a while to cool down and I can't contact her or even leave the house for 15 days. He points out these books on a shelf (all poetry) and tells me I can read them while I wait. So the 15 days go by pretty quickly, he's bringing me food and stuff but I can't leave at all.

So the 15 days end and now I'm like on this obstacle course or something in the woods. I'm racing against this other guy who in the dream I knew but I don't really think it's someone I know. I'm always in the lead, with him just behind me, climbing up these monstrous hills, swinging across chasms, sliding down embankments, dodging things etc... I keep getting this feeling like I'm about to fall or lose my grip but I never do.

So we reach the end of the course and we're at a riverbank. There's a sign on the edge of the river that says "the first one to cross this river can enjoy a fine breakfast buffet on the other side". So I'm like ok cool and I'm about to jump in the river but instead I'm magically transported to the other side and now I'm eating breakfast. Then it goes to a cinema or movie type view and I can see what's happening on the other side but I'm not there, you know? My new GF has shown up and is going to cross the river with the dude I had been racing against in the obstacle course. They are about to get in a boat to cross when these two celebrity guests show up. One of them I can't remember, but the other one was DEFINITELY that dude that played the water guy in Hellboy.

For some reason I end up on the phone with my gf and she tells me what's going on and I say "wow you would think they would get some celebrities that are actually good looking" and her response is "well, actually......" and then the phone call ends.

So now I'm seeing my gf wading into the water and this guy from Hellboy is in the water too and he appears like Adonis or something, perfect. And he's totally macking on my gf and she's like *giggle giggle* "NO" yada yada. So then she's off to the side talking to the guy I had been racing against and he's like "you should just hook up with him what's the big deal" and my gf says "well, as long as we don't have sex......" and then I pop up from the depths right next to my gf like a buoy or something and I say "hey guys what's up?" and then the dream ends.

what in the world???? I can't ever remember my dreams this clearly, but I can still recall even the smallest details about this one, what everything looked like, what I felt like, it's crazy! I really need some insight....

Yur subconscious mind notices the changes to your sleeping arrangement. However the most likely reason you remember your dreams since you got your new pilowtop mattress is because it has a strange smell! You probably noticed the new smell of the bed.
Regarding the dreams? They are just run - of - the - mill dreams people with a pretty girlfriend get! My guess is that yoy're insanely jellous of her talking to a anyone better looking than HELLBOY
Cheers Wolfjk

the dream sounds like you are confused about where you are going and who you are hanging out with. You were held captive for 15 days and you thought nothing of this.. This is a bad sign it shows a lack of boundaries.

I would do some heavy introspection and re-evaluate my social circle. Dreams usually release subconcious stress and worries so there is some validation to what you've dreamed. Your dream definitely isn't a forecast for future events so therefore you have to look at it from a psychological standpoint.

Salute!
