Dream about cancer

In the dream somehow I learned that I would die at age 40 from cancer (I'm 38 now). In the dream I was at home...I went to the computer and googled the type of cancer I would have...three words. The first two words I couldn't see. They were too fuzzy. The third word was sarcoma.

So, googled it. Instead of a medical info I was linked to some silly cartoon with funny little animals...baby chick's I think...they were funny colors, too, like pink and purple, blue, etc... It was video game or something. I kept thinking to myself that the name of the cancer wasn't real after all. That it was all make believe. I mean, why else would this funny cartoon thing come up instead of a real medical site?

After I woke up I felt immediately relieved. But then I started to worry that I really did have cancer! I'm thinking of going to get a check up.

Any thoughts?

Get the checkup. It won't hurt to put your mind at ease.
I get the feeling that you may be worried about cancer, or you may have a possible diagnosis, but comes out ok.

Thank you Bright Dreamer. I just made an appt. with my doc a few minutes ago! Might as well just get checked out...I'm past due anyway.

I agree with bright dreamer. You are worried about cancer and your subconscious uses your worry in your dream. However I think you also have some humour in the dream! Perhaps your subconscious is also playing a trick on you by showing you the word: "sarcoma", which I would take to indicate some sarcasm.
Dreams can be very cruel at times so you must not take them literally. They set out to do a necessary job in your sleep and use whateverdevice they can.

Well dreams may link to real life but in unusual ways. Have you been nthinking about health issues or been very worried by something you have seen on tv. This dream could show how you reacted to this... maybe seeing it as a less serious or idiculous sourse... not credible.
