dream I was getting fired, any ideas?
I had this dream last night/this morning, I was working at my first job, auto rental company(Enterprise) and I was the assistant manager of the store(this was my job when I was let go after 4.5 years), for some reason in the dream I always was outside the office and never went into the store, I was working outside on cars with the person that preps the cars. The day was going by and I realized I was always working outside and never went in, when I look inside the window I see my old account manager(this manager had it in for me and was the one who build up a case to get rid of me, I later learned that he was fired from unethical things, I saw this guy at the supermarket 2 weeks ago for the first time in 4 years and I didn’t even care about him anymore) talking to someone. The car prep and I are called in and the HR person is there, she calls the car prep and tells him that he is getting a $.20 cents raise on his hourly and then says, the bad news is that we have to let you both go(the car prep and myself). Another thing that I remember about the dream was that I realized that I was never inside the office and I think that I had another job while working at this car rental place, when I heard the news that I was letting go I didn’t flinch, I just didn’t care. Also in the dream while I was outside I had the strange feeling that I was going to be let go. Any ideas on what this could mean?
Going back to this job, I had to take this job straight out of college because I was an international student and I needed sponsorship, this was a horrible job and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, I hated everyday, I think that I was let go without reason and at the end I guess I was glad that I was kicked out because although I always wanted to leave I was afraid to do so.
