Does anyone have any examples of dreams they had and later came true. I had a dream that I was going to marry this man I know.. What could this mean.

I have had a number of dreams that have come to pass over my lifetime. Usually when I have a dream that comes to pass...it has a certain weird clarity to it...like watching a movie. Oddly enough...when it does come to pass....it happens in a different direction (as if in a mirror) then my dream portrayed it. For example...I once had a dream my car was being towed. I watched this happen in my dream from my bedroom window. One morning I woke up...heard a truck sounding noise...and knew it was my car being towed. I looked out my bedroom window...and unlike my dream where the car was being towed to the right....my car was actually being towed to the left. Although I live in NY....I live in upstate NY so car towing is not as common. Just to add...I have only had my car towed once before this...many years before...and while I was in NYC (so this had no influence on my dream).

Hi,
Yes, most dreams come true but they are not in a direct saying but they are in dream symbols and should be interpreted.Dreams that are direct saying as you saw may interpreted as receiving some dignity .of course There are a group of dreams that happen as they are seen, they are called Deja Vu.
Dreams are not certain in their time of happening because in that case people will lose every moral or religion rules and would follow only the dreams.
But there are verses in the holy books that confirm the dreams come true as they are seen by soul:

No misfortune can happen on earth or in your souls but is recorded in a Book before We bring it into existence: That is truly easy for God:
In order that ye may not despair over matters that pass you by, nor exult over favors bestowed upon you. For God loveth not any vainglorious boaster,-
Iron 22,

my opinion is that there are different kinds of dreams.

some tell the future, some are a representation of your feelings, some give you advice...

Hi,
Dreams can't predict the future but dreamers can! If you dreamt that you were going to marry a man, it means that you have a definite attraction for him, so it reduces the odds against happening by half! So the only other requirement is the willingness on his part!
Sometimes thing you dream about come to pass, however you must have anticipated or thought about the subject before the dream. Thus if you think there is a possibility of your car getting towed away,as Shirah did in another post, you might dream about it, and it may come to pass.
Cheers Wolfjk

Smile dreams do predict the future

http://www.freewebtown.com/godisking...nterpreted.pdf

I have used the book above many many times for about 4 years, and all predictions came true. I'll give a few examples of this book's interpretations coming true.

I dreamed of a telephone and conversing over one a week ago, and in the book above, it says that dreaming of a telephone means you will be harassed and bewildered in your affairs by strangers. The same day(same day of dream), I was walking with my friend next to a supermarket, and someone drove by and started yelling at us.

I dreamed of drinking coffee in one dream a few years ago. The book above says drinking coffee denotes the disapproval of friends towards your marriage intentions. Well, the same day, me and a friend were discussing the girl I wanted to marry, and he started saying that she wasn't the right person.

In one dream I ate a strawberry. Strawberry(from the book above) if eaten denotes requited(returned) love. The same day, me and the girl I like kissed for the first time.

I love this book, and have been using it for a long time.

I have had dreams which I felt definitely predicted the future. I had a dream which really shook mne when I woke. I laid in bed trying to interpret it. I linked it to someone in particular by using the symbols. I also linked the dream to her two sons. I had a terrible feeling that day. In the last moment of the day she died in a car crash(around twelve midnight). I have always believed in premonitions since then

------------------------
The connection between dreams and the day before the dream is really very strong. Its stronger than you would imagine. Thats because of the way that the mind is built. We store up memories in short term memory blocks. Then at nighttime we work through these and proceed to transfer them and integrate them into the long term memory banks. So always look for a possible explanation from the day before. In fact try to spot intuitions as they develop in your mind. What made you stop and think the previous day? What relationships have you been thinking about? What strong fantasies or paranoia's have been on your mind?

Of course a dream may have a different meaning. Dreams can be premonitions and can link to deep telepathy. But really do not pursue such explanations before you have at least tried some more mundane explanations. A dream may simply link to some simple everyday emotion.

The following pages above all help you to learn the basics of dream interpreting

Thumbs up

Yes dreams can come true, for a number of years a man appeared in my dreams he would take different roles, and I never saw his face, but I came to know him well how he would react to me how it felt to be near him, touched by him, and I would always know it was him no matter what his role was in my dream. When I met him in real life all the feelings where there I knew him instantly and we have now been happily married for the passed 16 years..

I've experienced deja-vu many times and had dreams that later occur. As a matter of fact I had a dream a month ago that my parents were selling their home, and last week they announced they were putting it on the market!
So I definitely think its possible.
