my parents cut the strings on my guitar?

ok, i had this dream a few months ago. i don't remember too much about it, but i do remember the last part.

i was sitting in church (my dad is a preacher), and i was sitting and playing my guitar. then someone comes up to me, i look up and see my dad, but he changes suddenly into my mom. he/she has some scissors in their hand, and they lean over and cut the strings on my guitar. my jaw dropped. mom/dad however, were smiling.

after that i woke up.

what does it mean?

Being that your father is a preacher and you are in a church, means to me that perhaps you believe that your father and your mother want you to start making some spiritual choices on your own...without their intervention. Cutting of the guitar strings may mean that they want you to be more independent. Be well.

As a fellow musician I know how annoying it would be if someone cut your strings!
The dream was a waking dream. It was dreamt to wake you up, however I would not be surprised if your father threatened you with cutting your guitar strings if you did not stop playing in a certain place!
