I dreamed I was in a city at night. It was quiet. I was looking out the window from the upstairs apartment of an old brick building. I saw this strange half weasel half cat creature. It was gray, and walked up a telephone as easily as it could walk horizonatally along level ground. It felt like a gentle creature. It quietly gazed at me with it's gray eyes. I suddenly felt like I was being watched from above by some kind of evil presence. A hole opened up in the thick blanket of black clouds in the sky and a giant eyeball gazed down at me. I was angry at this intrusion, and I turned into a giant green dragon. I was surprized at just how powerful I was. I roared at the eyeball and struck out to eat it in one gulp. The eyeball retreated back into the clouds, and the hole closed up. The presence recoiled in fear and disappeared. I think the cat-like creature represents the strange mysterious quality of the hidden aspect of the self.
Thoughts on the dream: The negative presence staring down on me represents eitheir Satan himself or just the Shadow self again. I am not sure. Regardless of what it was, I surprize myself at just how capable I am of overcomming the negative side of my nature. I dreamed that I was outside the cabin on the hill over looking the dog pen. I was feeling quite happy to see my flowers comming up through the mud. Then I was in a big building. The building had a living forest on the inside. Inside the builiding it was always a warm spring or early summer. I had to go through a double door entrance and walk down several steps to the forest. The steps were made of a black stone that was polished enough to be slightly reflective. The forest was stretched out before me like a stage. It was like this building was once a very large theater converted to house this secret forest. I found a secluded place to sit on the ground and enjoy the surroundings. There were other people, but they went to different places in the forest. I sat where I could look out onto an indoor valley. Rain began to fall. I was not bothered by it at all. I did still try to get under a pine tree with low branches to get out of the rain. People started to yell that we needed to leave because there was a rhino living here, and he will attack us. We ran out of the forest, up the steps and out the door. I saw rhino footprints but saw no rhino. By the way, the rhino liked to steal pink underwear as he was a pink loving rhino. Thoughts on the dream: I am preoccupied with all the flowers I planted comming up this year. I planted over 100 bulbs. They are comming up everywhere at the cabin. The theater setting represents that I am tired of the role I've been assigned in life and need a break. The forest represents going deep within myself to relax, to recoup. The rain represents emotional release. The rhino may represent frustration from the stress of daily life.

Dreams deal with extremes. If you truly understood the meaning of your dream it may be quite negative. We are our own worst judge. We try to detect signals coming from other people. Do people feel we are not cool or incompetent? The dream mind is often very harsh and honest. It tells us things that we do not like to admit to ourselves. It tells us things that we fear. Its worries about how others are seeing us. It’s a big harsh dose of reality. Yet the dream mind also heads in the other direction. It captures our fantasies and positive feelings. Sometimes you wake up in a positive mood and feel that you are going to tackle a task in a particular way. You are invigorated and positive. Dreams then help motivate us. But often if we go too far in one direction our dreams tell us to cool down and not get carried away. This makes sense really. The dream mind then explores feelings connected with our judgment. We need to motivate ourselves but we also need to be realistic.
