dream about a girl

last night I dreamed that i was walking in town. It was a weird town that seemed more like a maze with lots of people and traffic moving around. It felt like I was a spy or something on a mission of great importance searching for something or someone but the dream never revealed what. There was an inredible force driving me forwards.

On exiting a large department store my phone rang. I answered it to find I was speaking to a girl that a few weeks previously in real life I asked out to which she excitedly said yes but when we were to go on the date she txted me saying she couldn't make it cause she had some coursework to do by the next day and someone didn't approve of her going out with me. This has left me in a state of limbo on whether I should pursue the relationship.

anyway in the phone call she seemed to be trying to rearrange the date but when it came down to arrange where and when the background noise of all the traffic made it impossible to hear what she was saying. then i woke up.

also before I asked her out I used to get a recurring dream where I was driving my car down a stretch of road over and over again but every hundred yards someone was standing at the side of the road. as the dream progressed she was revealed to be the person on the side of the road.

Any one got any thoughts on this?

Had another dream which had this girl in it last night.

I was in a hospital looking over a patient with another doctor. The patient was about to die. The doctor told me to go find another doctor and tell him to bring 3 different drugs though I can't remember the names to save the patients life.

I left the room in search of this doctor but what I thought was a hospital now appeared to be some sort of university. while searching I bumped into this girl we started to chat and she was telling me what bands she liked to listen to. somewhere along the way we got seperated. I continued to search for the doctor but to no avail. I later saw the girl again though this time she didn't seem to know I was there. I was talking but she just continued to talk with the people around her but not me. she was describing her first kiss with this bloke but never mentioned his name.

I returned to the room having failed to find the doctor and drugs to be told that the patient had died.

It sounds as if the girl in real life changed her mind, but doesn't want to face you about it.
Your dreams seem to acknowledge that you know this is true, but in waking life, you wish you could be with her.
