Please help me figure this out

I had a dream last night that I was a party with my crush. He pulled me close to him and asked me to come into the next room so we could talk... this is odd because we almost never speak, I am to shy. Anyway he tells me he is leaving on a long trip (and he did in real life on sat. morning) and then begs me for my address so he can write me a letter while he is gone. He then tells me he loves me and holds me (*sigh*). His mom, who I am very close to in real life, gives me an approving wink and says something about having a wedding when they get back from their trip. In the wedding, I would be marrying him. This strikes me as especially odd since his mother, who is very protective of me(she was my counselor at camp, and we became very close), does not even want me to date until after high school! He is just about to kiss me when i wake up! Please help me figure out what this dream means!

At your age crushes come and go! Each one is more intense than the last.
You dream about what you think about in waking life. The fact that he is going away impacts on your dreams. Having a crush on someone is natural. However it is not very often permanent. Have you read Romeo and Juliette
It is nice to have friends and nice to have close friends but you gotto have priorities - which is your education. You may or may not sustain your friendshi after Uni, however you will change, your taste and outlook on life will change, so be patient.

Let me give this a go and hopefully u can take something from it. The closest symbolic connection of marriage with regards to this dream is 'a transitional period / important developmental phase in ur life'
You mention that u are shy but in ur dream u are at a party. I think that this represents a part of you that you would like to be able to express.
A trip / journey can be the same as a party - fun and relaxation or it can also be a new opportunity or challenge. Ok so to sum it up. I think that the feelings you are having 4 ur crush are part of the important development stage u are going through and I think his mom is very wise to give u advice of not getting to serious with anyone to soon. It is better to use the time getting comfortable with the opposite sex and overcoming ur shyness and gaining a sense of confidence around people which comes with practise. Being quiete can also be a good thing (maybe u can be a good listener, there are lots of talkers and not nearly enough listeners) Also, practise getting an understanding with different types of people. Remember the good thins about being shy is that it often comes with a certain perception and with any crush, dont listen to anything they say, but watch what they do, ~ that will give u a good idea of what they are truly like.
I think ur subconcious sees the challenge for you and is giving u the go ahead to just have a little fun and not to be too serious about it.

Just so all of you know, I had this dream again, but one thing was different... His mom was totally missing, so the wedding was never mentioned and I never got the wink but I still woke up just before the kiss!
