Glass Sweater?

I am hoping someone can help me decipher a dream I've had several nights in a row. I am wearing a sweater-like garmet that is made out of broken glass. The glass is colored like stained glass or bottles and is cutting my arms and face.

The more I struggle to get it off, the more it cuts me - drawing blood. It hurts, but I feel as if I need to get it off, so I keep struggling. I am not sure where I am, just a generic looking room.

Strangely, most dream dictionaries refer to "glass" as a drinking glass or eye glasses. I can't find anything about broken glass or colored glass.

I believe your dream is all about contradictions. Sweaters are suppose to be soft...your's is made of broken glass. Glass is mostly clear...your's is stained. The more you struggle...the more you get cut...still you struggle and bleed. I believe you are in a inner struggle regarding your actions versus what you know is right (arms vs. face). You want to act in accordance to how you are thinking or believe yet you are doing the opposite. As a result, you are feeling guilty. I agree with Verzandeh that the sweater represents a "covering" a relationship and the good part of this dream is that you didn't have on "rose colored glasses" so you were not foolish to the circumstances/people and can see clearly (no need for glasses) which leads me to also agree w/Verzandeh in that there are jealous people speaking against you.
