Alien Invasion - Portals In The SKY

I dreamed I was walking acrossed the street, a busy street. My arm was locked with a man that I barely knew, but seemed to trust. As we started stepping into the road, he stopped. I was flabberghasted, as this was a busy street, and a Jeep swerved, so as not to hit us. The man turned and seemed to be froze in place. Panicking, I started to yell at him, telling him that we were about to be hit...
As I looked back into the direction he was, I noticed it. There were these gigantic vortex's in the sky. With a S O N I C B O O M sound that I'd never heard before, it was something out of a science fiction movie. Then, the vortex's started surrounding the skies in what looked to be like a domino effect. They were a brilliant white circle in the middle, then they would ripple into purple, blue, and green halos. Covering the skies. They seemed to cause us to be stunned, physically.

He gathered his strength back, and was basically dragging me out of the street, desperately searching for shelter. As we ran, I noticed there was a field of green grass and new corn crops. There were children in them. There were also little green, purple, blue and yellow faceless aliens surveying the children. Children started to dissapear into thin air. I recognized 2 of the children, as my daughters. As this man was interlocked with my arm, pulling me toward the field, I grabbed my 2 year old and somehow managed to get my 6 year old in my grasp. We ran as I experienced the most horrifying panic attack I'd ever felt before. At that point, I realized that if I didn't wake up, I would vanish with the rest of the humans... so I woke up.

What is scary to me about this dream, is that I felt that I literally was in the wake of armageddon. Any interpretations would be greatly appreciated!!!

Often dreams can be premonitions. Most premonitions in my own case will relate to real life evnets that take place on the actual day of the dream. It maybe something small that has a big effect on you.

Has anything big happened today. Anything that makes you feel that things can get a whole lot worse. Something that would change your entire world. It could be anything. For instance I have just watched the news and watched talkj of bank crashes. That COULD change our entire world. Also it could be about nothing. Dreams are about opur fears.. our feelingsd... they explore worst possible scenarios.

It need not be a premonition. Just think of that word arageddon. What does it make you think of when you think of the day beforer. Some total catastrophe

Dreams deal with extremes. If you truly understood the meaning of your dream it may be quite negative. We are our own worst judge. We try to detect signals coming from other people. Do people feel we are not cool or incompetent? The dream mind is often very harsh and honest. It tells us things that we do not like to admit to ourselves. It tells us things that we fear. Its worries about how others are seeing us. It’s a big harsh dose of reality.

Yet the dream mind also heads in the other direction. It captures our fantasies and positive feelings. Sometimes you wake up in a positive mood and feel that you are going to tackle a task in a particular way. You are invigorated and positive. Dreams then help motivate us. But often if we go too far in one direction our dreams tell us to cool down and not get carried away. This makes sense really. The dream mind then explores feelings connected with our judgment. We need to motivate ourselves but we also need to be realistic.
