Default Same dream over and over...please help.

I am a 33 y/o male, my father passed 12 yrs ago...for the past month or so, every night, I have been having the same dream:

Him and I are in a barber shop that we went to when I was a little boy. I go first, then sit and wait for him. When he is done, we both get up and leave. We walk out, but he is walking with a cane...he never had one. When we walk out, it is on a major roadway and there is a lot of traffic on this street. It really was on a little side street, with very little traffic. Upon walking out, he walks to the right, me to the left...I call to him, ask him where he is going, tell him we need to go this way, but he just keeps walking, never looking back, never answering, never slowing or stopping for traffic; but at the same time, traffic isn't interferred by him either. A few things should be noted: We never talk to each other or anyone else in the barber shop; all the conversations going on in the barber shop are always the same; the dream always starts at the same point and it ends at the same point, and I wake up. I don't wake up afraid, startled or in a sweat. I just wake up. Has anyone ever had any dreams like this? Reoccurring dreams, and reoccurring for such an extended period of time? Please, I'll take any input anyone can give me. Thank you in advance.

Hi,
If you wake up near your usual waking time it is obviously a waking dream. However if you wake up in the middle of the night there may be other reasons.
The idea of a walking stick in the dream suggests that you may have some health worries.
Have you a lot of outside interest or are you in a bit of a rut lately?
Cheers Wolfjk

Hi,
You dreamt your deceased father alive means : 1- something impossible or forgotten will be ok for you.2- father specially if in decorated clothing means you will have a better life situation.
A cane is a sign of some managing or commanding situation.

Cane is interpreted as a big man.
If one dreamt had a cane means he will have some greatness and dignity.
If dreamt his cane was lost means he will lose some dignity.
If dreamt he had a cane and it became longer means he will achieve his wish.
If dreamt his cane was shorter means he won't achieve his wish.
Cane may also mean ;1- a governor 2- a big man 3- power in the affairs.
Your dream has been reoccuring to force you to ask the meaning.

I want to tell you a reason to know that 5 senses can't understand anything except by the soul.
Have you dreamt you were eating and drinking and had pleasure of that. He said yes. I said: have you dreamt laughing and crying, and strolling in the cities that haven't seen yet but you know the specialties. He said: yes dreamt very much. I said: Have you ever dreamt about your dead brother or father and know them like they are alive.
He said: yes too many times. I said: tell me which sense has received such things to see the dead and talking to them or crying and laughing. He said: I can’t say which one. Because the body is slept like a dead. I said: tell me when you wake up don’t you remember and report to the friends exactly, He said; yes and sometimes I see that before night in real life. I said; which sense keeps it to remember the dream after waking. He said; there is no way for sense. I said then you should know because senses are vein here that is the soul that God has put wisdom in it and it is a reason. He said; what I dream is like mirage one thinks it is water but when arrive at there is nothing. I said; how do you say it is like mirage and you ate sweets and pickles and were happy and sad he said; because what I dream when I arrive at it is nothing. I said: have you ever had sex in the dream and your hearts beat, have you ever had wet dream about a woman or man. You know him or don’t know He said many times said had you orgasm and when you woke up you were wet then this is not mirage.
He said: dreaming orgasm is just like the real life .I said this is my reason that soul Knows everything although senses are dead and can’t see or hear of course you shouldn’t deny that soul in addition of the senses knowledge recognition in the waking life after vanishing the senses has sex with them then it recognizes the things after going senses and now you understand that the soul itself is guiding the senses and is their governor and none of the senses can’t do anything without soul; if the soul goes ahead body wasn’t get back and if soul gets back the body won’t go ahead with the soul the happiness comes and with it the ache is received if a sense is damaged the soul is remained but if the soul is damaged senses can work properly.

Default Interesting

Thank you both for your replies. Varzandeh, yours stuck with me most. I had/have great admiration for my father. I miss him beyond words. I always discussed my days with him and looked to him for advice...even without asking directly...and he gave indirectly too...kinda of a father/son unspoken bond thing. I am currently going through some very trying times. Might this be his way of giving me direction? I have always prayed before bed, but i noticed something last night that clicked for me...i cant finish my prayers anymore...and havent been able to for about the amount of time that i have been having these dreams. The more i look at the entire scenerio: how my days go, what i dream, and now, my pre-bed ritual...might it all lead to the same thing? Is it possible that my father is cutting off my prayers? I am not saying that he doesnt want me to pray, but maybe his message to me is so urgent that it cant wait for me to hear/see it...and figure it out? Or, am i just now reading too much into it? Thanks again to all that read and offer help.
