Seen a brief Tornado

A lady I and some children were standing outside the Van talking ( dont know who they are)it was nighttime in the dream,, I looked up the sky and seen a big tornado we all panicked and hid by the van and the tornado passed by and disappeared
I noticed I knew the tornado wouldnt hit us

Battygurl...I too had a dream years ago about two tornados next to each other. It was also night and very dark in my dream. The only reason I saw them was because lightning flashed. I laid down in a hole and they passed over me. I was unharmed and also knew I would be left unharmed. I am not sure what tornados mean. Perhaps possible tragedies? My dream happened a few months before 911. Hindsight is 20/20...or maybe I am connecting the two together after the fact when there is no connection at all. Either way...I never had a dream of a tornado again. I will read what others post as the meaning of your dream and perhaps that will help me to understand as well.
