Madusa!?

last night i dreamt i was upstairs with two other women. They were my friends and a third woman was going to arrive soon but when she was walking up the stairs this creature had grabbed her and she couldnt make it to the top without me helping her. the creature was something thats so weird i cant describe it the closest thing to it is a madusa but it was male (i just knew). non of the other would help her so i had to help her by myself. And the creature had a really creepy voice. Can anyone help me understand what this dream means?
