Default Recurring Wolf Dreams

Hi. I was hoping someone could tell me what a few of my dreams mean. For the past few years, I've been dreaming of wolves constantly. They are either chasing me, or are ominous in one way or another. Many of them are recurring. There are two that stand out the most, for me. I would be really appreciative if someone could help. ^_^

The first one starts as I'm walking down a side road that is right next to my house. It's a small hill and curves and is the road that leads to a large forest park. I just got out of the car of my best friend's mom and they drove off. I continue down the street, walking towards my house, in the middle of the street (almost right on the yellow lines). I look up at a street light that is nearly right above me and listen to the buzzing sound it made. I then turned around and saw a very large wolf-like figure running towards me. I was under the impression it was a werewolf. Out of instinct, I started running for the door to my apartment. When I almost reached the corner, my mom and her boyfriend (at the time) pulled onto the side of the road, in his car. I walked over to the passenger's side and my mom asked me what I was doing out, because it was already dark. I turned around, looking for the wolf, but it wasn't there. I tried to start explaining, but I knew she wouldn't believe me, so I stopped. They both got out of the car and faced me, while my back was turned towards the road I was running down. Her boyfriend went to point to something behind me, but I knew it was the wolf, so I quickly turned around and stabbed a knife (that looked like it was made from bone) into the top of its skull and all the way through. I turned back around to face them and when I looked back, it was gone. I walked a bit down the sidewalk and as I passed a dumpster in the parking lot of the apartment complex next to my apartment, the wolf jumped out and stood behind me. I removed the knife that was still lodged in its skull, and pushed it in once more. It began crawling away from me, but I reached down and grabbed the scruff of its neck and snapped it. In remembering the dream, the fur felt so real. I can still feel the bristley hair. I looked back at my journal a few months ago, at the page where I wrote the dream down right after I remembered it, and saw that I had written that the wolf looked like a Spanish wolf, which is odd, because I don't remember writing that part down.

The second had a lot more impact on me because of the after effects of it.The dream starts with my friend (who I have known since I've been born) and I walking through the woods right near where my grandparents used to live. They lived in a house that's in a cemetery. It's for the boss of the workers in the cemetery, with an office attached. It was late fall, at the time, so the ground was covered in red, orange, brown, and yellow dried leaves and almost all of the trees were bare. A very beautiful Timber wolf walked by a few feet ahead of us, so we stopped to admire it. It also stopped and turned its head to study us, calmly. I had a camera in my hand so I took a very pictures of it, before it slowly walked away. My mom briefly looked out the window that was above the sink, while doing the dishes, to check on us. On the same day, at night, my mother and I were outside, laying on cots. We were right between the house and a small cliff-like rock complex. There were a lot of trees on the hill right behind it. Our cots were directly two feet apart. I pulled the covers over my feet because they felt cold and clammy and told my mom that I wasn't going to sleep until Josie got there. Josie is the friend of my sister. I glanced up at the stars, which were very bright, right as I heard a very deep, powerful male voice. It said something along the lines of, "How dare you." I looked over to the top of the cliff and there was a wolf on the top. I'm not sure if it was a black or Timber wolf. It firmly told me to leave, but I questioned why because I wasn't doing anything. It calmed a bit, but still told me to leave, so I pulled the covers over my head like a child, as if it would save me. I didn't quite catch the last thing it said before I woke up. But when I woke up, I sat up very quickly and hunched over, while making a loud choking/gargling noise and my heart was pounding very fast.

There's also an experience that I've had that's a bit related to this. It's not a dream, but it involves a wolf. It was the oddest thing. About four months ago, I walked outside onto my porch/balcony to remove a spirit guide offering because it was out there too long. As I walked out, I checked the area, and saw it had fallen. I looked up to the sky to see a very white cloud above the forest park near my house. It was dark outside, so the cloud looked very interesting against such a dark background. It was also the only cloud in the sky. I casually had a random thought about how much one part of the cloud looked like a wolf's head. A few seconds after, as I continued to look at it, the bottom of the cloud seemed to begin to bubble and move. It began to shape into that of a wolf's legs. I thought I was going insane, so I rubbed my eyes and blinked a bit and looked back up. But the cloud was still bubbling on the edges and shaping itself into the full body of a running wolf, with its muzzle slightly open. I got a bit scared, so I went inside and got something to drink. Out of curiosity, I went back out and the cloud continued to clean up the shape of the wolf. I had previously read that being chased by wolves can mean a danger or fear, and the wolf looked like it was chasing something. I got a sudden thought to look outside the window and across the street, I saw my mom's ex-boyfriend and his car. This was really strange because we had just recently moved out of his house and my mother and him were on bad terms, so we were trying to not let him know where we were living, otherwise there would be problems.

Hi,
If one dreamt a wolf or wolves devour him means he will divorce his wife.If dreamt he killed a wolf and ate its flesh means he will receive some heritage.Wolf may also mean : 1- wife 2- a server.

Question

The first nightmare I had was when I was 6 years old and it started like this. I went down stairs and my mum was in the kitchen but with her back to me. I hear something knocking at the door. (It is night time) I tell my mum but she carries on doing what she is. I climb onto the side and look through the window. Nothing There is a knock again so I open the door and a wolf jumps through the door and bites me. The I wake. This has been a reoccurring dream

I've had many recurring dreams involving wolves as well. As a child, I used to dream that wolves would circle around my house, and eventually break in. Then they would prowl around the inside of my house, climbing on the furniture and sniffing around. They would open my door and peek inside, but never come in, much like parents when they check in on a sleeping child. I would hide under my blankets, terrified. Upon waking, I would often see a shadow or a shape (I've always had horrible vision, and like most normal people, have never slept with my glasses on) that looked just like a wolf. These dreams and whatnot stopped after some time.

However, last night I had my first wolf dream in what I perceive to be a long time. I'm only sixteen, so one might still consider me to be a child, but that's besides the point. This dream was of a much different nature than those I can recall from my childhood. Since those dreams stopped, I can't say I've ever really had any dreams other than the occasional nightmare, so having a dream like this, especially as vivid, was strange in itself.

I am in a building in a city that I could not recognize, though my dream-self must be familiar with my location. I am with another person, who I never end up seeing, though I seem to know who it is (but I will just call this person "Bob" for simplicity's sake). They also never seem to have a gender. They are speaking with someone else on a two-way radio. There are small children everywhere, and my dogs (I have several). I know I have to bring them all to a safe place, so I lead all of them to the highest floor in the building. I lock up all of my dogs in kennels in one room, and bring the children into another small room with no windows. I return downstairs to find "Bob" absolutely frightened. "Bob" quickly hands me two small daggers, and suddenly something black, like a dog, crashes through the window and lands on me. I manage to grab it by the scruff of the neck and break its neck, then I throw it out the window onto the street. I ask what it was, and "Bob" tells me it was a demi-wolf.

Soon after, more wolves start crashing in through the windows. I believe them to be rabid wolves; their mouths foaming, baring their teeth and growling at us. They begin attacking us and "Bob" and I try to fend them off... but eventually "Bob" is gone. I don't know what happened, but I am suddenly left to fight these wolves on my own. At one point my daggers turn into katanas and I continue fighting, blood everywhere. Everything stops, and no more wolves are around. I take a moment to breathe and look around. I stop and just stare off into nowhere. Suddenly I feel my body being knocked over to the floor, and I feel sharp teeth digging into my shoulder, ripping and tearing at it. Somehow I grab the blade of my katana and stab it deep into the wolf, cutting at my fingers and hand as well. I slide out from under the dead wolf and bring myself to my knees, panting. I look around and wonder how much of this blood is my own, especially as I realize how much the wolf had just destroyed my right shoulder.

Now my perspective switches to that of someone else upstairs in the room where I had previously locked up my dogs to keep them safe. I assume that now I am "Bob," though I'm not so sure. A wolf crashes in through the window, and does not see me at first. The dogs begin barking wildly, and the wolf responds by growling and trying to rip open the kennels the dogs are in, the most horrid sounds escaping its throat. I have a dagger, and I jump on the wolf and begin stabbing as hard and as often as I can, my maternal instincts taking over as I fight to protect my dogs. The wolf collapses beneath me and I throw the dead animal out the window down to the street. I see that it had managed to reach this floor by means of a fire escape, so I manage to unscrew it and watch as it falls to the ground.

My vision switches back to my dream-self downstairs, on my knees, panting and still bleeding everywhere. I collapse to the ground... and then I wake.

Soon after waking up, I spoke to a friend and he pointed out to me that wolves are often viewed as guardians (especially in Native American folklore - we are both part Native American) and my dreams as a child definitely reinforced that feeling. However, now that wolves have been portrayed in such a negative light, he told me that maybe it just reflects my feelings towards the world at this point in my life - like I'm alone (especially after "Bob" disappears and I am left to fight my attackers myself) and really just left to fight everything around me, mainly just life obstacles, as I'm growing up.

What's so strange is for the past few years I have had horrible problems with my right shoulder. I have fully dislocated it playing volleyball, and it has never been right since. I woke up with such pain in my shoulder and I was completely out of breath.
