birth and death

last night i dreamed i was pregnant, had the baby (a boy), and then after a few days the baby dies. this is very distrubing to me because 1- i am unable to have children, 2- all i've ever wanted was to have children, and 3- the baby dies (this one is espesially hard)

what i want to know is why did i dream this?, why not dream of a healthy baby? why not dream of a baby who doesn't die? and for that matter, why dream of a baby at all? i know i can't have one, why make it any harder by dreaming about it?

can i make myself not dream of babies anymore?

i know this makes no sense -- so no one has to reply, i'm really just venting and talking myself thru this. thanks

edit: i was just sitting here thinking and i remembered something else-- how i felt in the dream. when i was preg.(in my dream) i felt extreme happiness and during the birth no pain, again happiness, but when the baby dies i felt no sadness rather i felt confused because everyone was crying and i wasn't, i didn't cry -- i just can't understand this even if it was a dream, why didn't i CRY ?????????????????

It could be that your subconsciously dealing with the fact that you cant have a baby, but still have a desire to have one, thus in seeing the child birth, it fuffills the need aspect of the emotions your having. When you see the baby die I think it reflects upon the disapointment you feel and is your minds way of rationalizing it.

Wow, I am really sorry..... I just don't know what to say to someone going through so much... while I am complaining about my own dream.. (Well, not complaining, but feeling really frustrated)

Hello, I'm new here too, But I hope everything goes ok for you. I'm a mother of 3 ages 25,20,17.9 a grandmother @ 45 of 2 ages 6 & 2 and one due in April Love my grandchildren but I pray thay will make it in life. Our dreams are suppose to guide us in life at least that's what my grandma use to tell me.
