escape from jail

I had a dream that a sherriff wearing a blue uniform had me in a blue jumpsuit and put me in jail.....with my mother's help....I escaped through an open window that led into another room and then outside.....before I went outside, I had some keys that unlocked these safe boxes on the jail walls and I was trying to find something that I needed without any luck....I then saw a woman ( I used to work with her in 2002) briefly.....I eneded up outside on a grass hill with a large bag of candy. they were different brands but , I do remember kitt katt.....
Does any one have an idea as to what this may mean? I know that the night before that I was worried about my children making a safe trip home ( three hour drive) and no one answered the phone to let me know if they were all ok....don't know if it has anything to do with that but, just wondering.....thanks all!!!

Jail could represent a lack of connection that you felt with children at that time and something you were searching for could be you wanting to know if your children were okay.

I wanted to offer some biblical insight on your dream here. Being placed in a jail cell here I believe represents spiritually imprisoned in an area in your life? This is something that has authority over you and you need to break free from. Your mother helping you may represent her guidance and wisdom that she has given you over the years that you already know to help set you free. God is using her in your dream to help bring to remembrance those things you've learned from her, which may also be the "key" for your way out. You were unable to open the safes which may mean there is something yet to learn and discover about yourself, which may hold the answer to the cause of being spiritually imprisoned? Perhaps this is an area that may be tied to someone or something work related? Possibly even years ago? It could be anything from being angry and hurt at someone, resentful, bitter, traumatic experience, etc. Being taken to the top of the green hill represents place of obtaining the help you need from God which leads to peace and rest...but more importantly true freedom. The bag of candy represents "tasting" of God's goodness and peace in your life after you have surrendered your heart to Him. And since it was a big bag, there is much more to God's goodness and love than you realize, which He is wanting to give you (more than what you expected ). I pray this makes some sense...be encouraged and seek God with your whole heart who truly cares for you...He really is wanting to do great things in your life! Blessings!!
