help me with this crazy dream

so I dont remember all that much but vividly i remember seeing my mom with me in our living room (she passed in april 07) and i had swallowed a piece of glass and she would pay no attention to me no matter how much i tried and finally when she realized i needed to go to a doctor because a piece was stuck in my throat...it ripped through my throught and i swear i could feel the warm blood rushing through the hole in my neck and i woke up holding my neck...i have no idea what it means...any help??

This is a dream caused by an acid reflux. If you have spicy and -or fatty foods befor you go to bed, especially if you had a trying or exciting day before the dream, you might burp up some acidic digestive juice and that burns your throat. Your dream describes this process.
When this happens you need a very quick dream that happens in a fraction of a second to stop you choking.

You do have some symbolism here that is worth taking a closer look at. First of all I am sorry for you mom's passing and you are coming up on the first anniversary of her death.

In your dream your mom is there but she is not able to respond to your need; she cannot help you with the glass that you have eaten. You may have encountered a situation recently where you may have said something that was worded poorly or you may have been disappointed by someone. Maybe mom would have been the perfect person to talk to about the situation and your subconscious was telling you that she is here in spirit but just can't physically help you right now. You need your throat to communicate and you just have not been able to get past either your own pride or the hurt that another has caused but you are really feeling it.

I don't want to assume anything about anyone's faith perspective but you can talk to mom through prayer. Spill it out to her in a quiet moment and see if some previously unthought solutions present themselves. She has a lot of connections now and you just never know.
