Could you possibly be overworked and thinly stretched as of late? It seems to me that you are finding it hard to implement some fun in your life right now. Hope you can rearrange your obligations to have some "me" time in the near future. You seem to need it and you deserve it.

Typically this type of dream deals with the fact that you have things to deal with, things to resolve. If the bags were suitcases for travel perhaps looking forward to a trip.... but if they were storages type compartments then you have some unresolved "things from your past that need to be handled and resolved.
The basket ball is a statement that says time to get in the game...time to start doing something about that extra weight that you carry. Time to get a plan together and start working on dealing with issues of life. sailrmc
