My most vivid and disturbing dreams almost always involve alligators, clear water and crossing through them to get to someone or save someone close to me. Typically if I remember a dream in almost exact detail, it has two or more of those charateristics. I am also prone to recurring dreams/nightmares especially when I remember them so well...which is why this new one from last night is bothering me so much.
I dreamt that I had worms, thick meal like worms coming out of my feet, breaking skin (no blood at first) I would pull them out and they would snap, like in segments, but I knew they were much longer than the pieces I got out. In my dream I wasn't very afraid to discover them, I guess I had heard of something happening like this before (so I thought in my dream, but not in real life). I was trying to pull them out and started to get panicky and worried because I couldn't remove them all the way by myself, someone came to help me but I didnt recognize who, the worms were incredibly long, like rope and when being removed I was in pain, not in my foot but in my intestines and kidneys. The worms, originally white, were pink from being inside me. I was also barefoot the whole time. While this was happening there was a woman in red, I didn't know her but was magnetically drawn to her, she wore a wide red brimmed hat and a long red evening gown, her eyes were concealed but I could see her smile. She wore elbow length red gloves as well. I was trying to recuperrate from the painful removal of the worms and she was my distraction...I felt as if she was tied to the worm incident somehow. I woke up and could not go back to sleep...so please help me...if I can understand this now then perhaps I can keep it from becoming a recurring nightmare like the alligator ones I can't get rid of. my feet were not itchy by the way, no pain in my feet at all. |

Ide like to think about this first. Your imagery is very interesting. For this dream it would make a difference if you are male or female. Can u add that info please. Thanks.

This dreams indicates to me that you are undergoing some kind of therapy that is drawing out a lot of stuff that you have kept inside for a long time. It is really difficult painful stuff and has hurt you in the past but it seems to speak well of your therapist or whoever you are confiding in as they are taking you through it in a manner where you are able to detach and get it out. You still know however, that there is a lot more to come and you dont feel that you are capable to do it on your own but with the help you are now getting it is possible. The pain in the stomache(intestines) is often where we keep all our emotional hurt especially when it is not expressed. Although I dont know too much about colours, red / orange and the stomache would relate to family (particularly mother) and may be related to that. Take care, hope this helps somewhat.

Well often dreams link to reality in everyday ways which we do not recognise. An alligator is something that we wouldswish to avoid at all costs. What real life situations or people did you wish to avoid the day before?
------------------------ In order to understand dreams you need to understand neural networks. Neural networks are how the brain stores important information. The dream mind connects to something happening in your life by comparing it to something esle that has previously happened. Inreal life you may feel tired. So a dream connects to that event by comparing it to an event where you felt the same sensations. So your dream mind is saying "I felt as tired as I did when I was moving house".
