2 dreams and a question

First, the question. So I have dreams that start up and go a long way, then will cutout and a little while later I wake up. Then, the next night or a short time (no more than 3 weeks) will go by and despite having all sorts of dreams, the one i had three weeks ago will start up and complete. Any idea why this is?

Anyway here are my dreams...(Three quick facts about me I am an up and coming golfer with great aspirations one day, a tremendous lover of cars with some problems with the law in my earlier years for racing and I am 22)

1) Last Night, I had a dream that I am at a golf tournament of somekind with tents of color all over the place and drivers (the golf club) on the tables closest to me (no other club is visible). Then, as I am looking through my tournament program, A line of golfers come casually walking in a line past me and towards something (I never see where they're going). And in this line, I see my golf coach and he comes over to me and says "You ok? You'll be just fine... just go after them, do your thing." My coach is dressed in a black almost military outfit like an old american civil war uniform but brand new....And then I wake up.

2) I am in my car (Jetta) and I am driving on a highway near my house and it progressively goes from sunrise to sunset over a short period of time with no other cars on the road. Then, I flash to me still in my car but its pitch dark out and I am on a dirt road with gravel and its twisty. And as I am going along kind of fast, I see a police car with trees branches and vines on top as if to hide itself. My heart starts pounding rally hard, I slam on the brakes and ease past it, then when I lose sight of him I turn off my lights and get out of there as fast as possible. Then, another flash. It's daytime and I am on a race track and I am in a race car version of my Jetta. There is concrete walls on my left and a chain-link fence on my right. As I go into a turn, my car spins out and into the fence. I get out to check for damage and I see this old medieval helmet, like something a knight would wear- long, 1 foot in length with one half (length wise) red the other side blue. I rotate it and theres a huge crack in it- I throw it down when i see it. I wake up.

3) So, I am in a warehouse district and as i turn to see where I am, I can see a stadium and you know its a race track bc of the sound of engines. the moment I turn my head back to my original position, a Chevrolet Camaro Race car blows by me, tries to stop and smashes into a pile of cars 10 feet (3m) high. A girl is running after it and as she's runnign toward it she stops and says, "It's not ready yet but she will be..." The next moment- I am in an old pickup truck but it has a crazy engine in it (due to the noises) driving somewhere. Next moment- I am standing in a garage a this guy comes up to me, while I see 5-6 guys pushing away my pickup truck, and the guy says, "You'll need something special for this race." And he slides open the door and there is this beautiful chevrolet monte carlo. (Now here is where it gets funky because I can see myself getting into it as the camera angle view pans from the left side of the car to the right side) Immeidiately after the camer stops panning I see myself put in the key, start it up, and rev it up. Immediately I am dirivng on a road near my house, but there is a fire truck on my left and I hear someone yelling "watch out for the fire truck, be aware what's in the trees" as I roar past the fire truck. I wake up.
