Lost Key

I dreamed I was training for a new job in a nursing home.

For 2 weeks while I trained it was a fun job.

The first day I was on my own they were going to put me on day shift on a hall with 70 patients.

I knew that that was too many patients for one nurse so I said no and went the the office to quit.

I was proud of myself for making that decision as in my younger days I would have attempted it and been overwhelmed.

The line in the office was long so I went away and came back later. It was even longer the second time. I started wondering if they could get me for patient abandonment but remembered since I never accepted the responsibility in the first place I was OK. I felt guilty for the nurse left there.

I was going to go home but I had lost my house key. It was in a place that was easy to get to while I was training but now out of training I couldn't get there to get my key. My husband couldn't let me in the house because he was sleeping inside the house.
