Default Help! My baby Drowning?!!

Gen Info: My son is 17mnts old

I was with my cousin and son at like an apartment/hotel. I went somewhere while she was watching him. I cam back and was talking to her & thinking where is my baby boy at?? So I asked her in panik voice and she smiled like nothing.

Then I looked at the bathtub next to her and it was filled with dirty water. So I couldnt see anything. THen she began explaining how he was swimming even tough I couldnt see him & I didnt see him move--AT ALL!

I either reached for him or the water went down...so he began to pull his head up. Except when I saw him he looked like he was SUFFICATING all this time I was gone. I was so pisted.

I grabbed him and told my cousin never to do that again or I will kill her. But then she said he already knew how to swim because he was still young enough.

Then out of know where Dr.Phil showed up and I asked him @ what age should a baby still know how to swim?? He said around 18mnts. My son is 17mnts old...but I looked at him like he was crazy because I saw my son REACTION--and I knew that wasnt right.

Then someone else started to agree with him...it was like no one believed me & kept saying the same thing.
Please help me with this dream....I need to know what could be wrong with him...

Hi,
If he was in the dirty water means he will get ill for sometime and because he was dead means he will overcome the illness.
Also it can be about his father that will have a trouble at work.
Good luck to you.

Okay, but my son never Died in the dream...he was gasping for air and then was alright. So what does that mean??--Especially since he didnt-->Die?

On another note: We took him to the doctor today because of a rash & found out he caught a virus.

Hi,
It has been the same virus predicted.Don't wory .
Gasping for air means receiving some money perhaps it is about his father.

If one dreamt someone suffocated or choked him means he will receive some livelihood and a good life.
Some interpreters say he may have a sorrow.

Well I have had premonitions myself so I realise that you may fel fearful. But really many many more dreams are just ordinary dreams which reflect the inner workings of our minds

Perhaps the moment when he was felt to be drowing reflects momenbts when you feel he is totally vulnerable and unable to cope. The moment when he was felt to be ok and old enough to swim maybe reflects the views of others. That you are overreacting and that he is far stronger than you feel.

------------------------

Dreams deal with extremes. If you truly understood the meaning of your dream it may be quite negative. We are our own worst judge. We try to detect signals coming from other people. Do people feel we are not cool or incompetent? The dream mind is often very harsh and honest. It tells us things that we do not like to admit to ourselves. It tells us things that we fear. Its worries about how others are seeing us. It’s a big harsh dose of reality.

Yet the dream mind also heads in the other direction. It captures our fantasies and positive feelings. Sometimes you wake up in a positive mood and feel that you are going to tackle a task in a particular way. You are invigorated and positive. Dreams then help motivate us. But often if we go too far in one direction our dreams tell us to cool down and not get carried away. This makes sense really. The dream mind then explores feelings connected with our judgment. We need to motivate ourselves but we also need to be realistic.

It sounds like me to that everyone thinks your "crazy" even a most respected doctor (Dr. Phil may I add, is a piece of ****!- sorry I have anger issues)

Back to my point, everyone thinks you are crazy but you saw what you saw and you are not. Even someone with common sense would agree that there is no way a baby just a year and 6 months (18 months) could learn how to swim!

The point here again, is that I believe you should trust your instincts when it comes to your son, whatever it may be, trust your instincts, that is the "gut" tugging you to do something that seems unconventional but is always right. I believe our intuition if you will is our angels trying to give us a message to safety.

You are your baby's mother and you know what you know...

I am not sure whether your baby is in danger in reality, however, anyone should always trust their intuition, its like a silent, still , warning. I cannot explain it.

Prayer helps all the more.

May God give you peace of heart and mind.

V.

Just putting this out there, but the dream could be about your inner self and not about your son at all. A baby can represent parts of our true selves that need protection or that we have lost touch with. The element of the dream where you are seen as crazy, combined with the element of a part of your true self being suffocated in filthy water, may point to some aspect of your life that you need to recover. Have you lost touch with something that used to bring you happiness, or with a creative project or dream that once meant a great deal to you? Or, as another poster noted, the aspect of your life that needs to be protected from drowning might be your hunches and intuition.
