I have never had a dream about my death, until last night. The dream itself wasn't really about me dying, but about me after I died. I don't recall how I died in my dream, but I also know it wasn't important. The major focus of my dream was that I was a ghost. I was somewhere in the south (like North Carolina or South Carolina, I actually live in New England). I was surrounded by a bunch of ghosts. They were all very nice and wanted to hang out with me and just have fun. They were also very helpful. I did not know any of these ghosts. I felt an urgent need to do 2 things, one was visit my best friend in North Carolina and the next was to attend my funeral. The other ghosts thought I was morbid for wanting to attend my own funeral. I asked them how I could get to these two places and they told me to fly. I was astounded that I could fly, but I did and I loved it. I asked how long it would take to fly back to Connecticut (where my funeral would take place) and they told me 8 hours. I got a little discouraged because I thought that was too long, but I also was excited to be able to fly there, i felt so free. I did end up flying in my dream but I awoke before I got to either of my destinations. This entire dream i was never once sad that I had died. I was actually very happy and carefree. The only thing that bugged me was that I didn't have all of life's answers once I died, since I thought that I should.
Yeah, so that was my dream in a nutshell. If anyone could help me with this one I would really appreciate it. Thanks!! Lisa |

Hi,
Your dream is an indirect saying and should be interpreted. The subject is not after life because in the afterlife the travel doesn't take 8 hours. So, your soul means a dear friend or Soul or ghost means a dear child or a dear wife or some properties. If one dreamt his soul came out of his body means his child or wife will be in danger or his property will damage. If dreamt his ghost like a beautiful man or woman , it means he will have a beautiful child and a better situation, or he will meet a moral governor. If dreamt his ghost like an ugly man it means in the contrary. If one dreamt his ghost in his hand means he will do a dangerous act. If dreamt his soul went to the sky means there is a death danger. If dreamt a yellow ghost means a serious illness. If dreamt a red or white ghost means rescue from a sorrow. If dreamt the ghost was black means a God's wrath. If one dreamt a passed away person was in the agony of death means a sorrow for the family. If this family were crying slowly means happiness for the family. If dreamt that a passed away person was in the agony of death means his soul is in sufferings. Flying means you will have a travel is on the way. If one dreamt had wings and feathers and flew means he will have a travel. If dreamt was flying without feathers and wings means his situation will change. If dreamt flew from his roof to another means he will divorce his partner and will marry another person. If dreamt was flying from a place to another like a bird means will have a travel. If dreamt flew direct to the sky means will have a hurt and loss. If dreamt flew to the high in the sky and disappeared and didn't turn back means his life is ending. If dreamt flew to the galaxies means will have a pilgrimage travel. If dreamt flew from his house to an unknown house means there is a death danger. If dreamt had feathers unlike the birds means will get ill.

Hi - I would say that your dream is a desire to break away from the burdens and responsibilities of a part of you that is always mature and accountable for everything. You would actually be happy if that part of you died and then you feel that you could be free to exist and do what you wish, go where you want and do what you like. Ide say simply that is is a wish for freedom. (of either the mind - maybe something keeps you to grounded and intense) or the body (maybe your physical situation) or some aspect. You
would more than likely know what it is.

Well oparts of us die all the time. A friednship dies if we stop seeing that friend. A group of friends dies when we leave a job. If we are unable to carry on doing somehting then that part of us dies. Is there some hobby or anything that you feel bitter because you are unable to continue with... especially the day before the dream.
------------------------ The connection between dreams and the day before the dream is really very strong. Its stronger than you would imagine. Thats because of the way that the mind is built. We store up memories in short term memory blocks. Then at nighttime we work through these and proceed to transfer them and integrate them into the long term memory banks. So always look for a possible explanation from the day before. In fact try to spot intuitions as they develop in your mind. What made you stop and think the previous day? What relationships have you been thinking about? What strong fantasies or paranoia's have been on your mind? Of course a dream may have a different meaning. Dreams can be premonitions and can link to deep telepathy. But really do not pursue such explanations before you have at least tried some more mundane explanations. A dream may simply link to some simple everyday emotion. Thank you both for those insights. I have been thinking about my dream a bit and have come to a different interpretation myself. I know that dying means an end to one thing and a beginning to something new. I think that something is about to change for me, my way of life is bout to change and this will be the best thing for me. I will be happy in this new situation. However, I am torn about it. I don't want to leave my old life, hence wanting to go see my best friend and go to my funeral. I am afraid of making a big change. Also, I know I am going to have to work for this change to come about, 8 hours to fly, and I am a little worried that I will get to discouraged to finish the job and actually change my life.
Well, these are just my thoughts on my dream...are they way too far fetched??? |

Sounds perfect! We are actually the best ones to judge our own dreams as we know better than anyone whats going on inside our head but its also good to get a different perspective or be pointed in a certain way that we may have missed as sometimes we are also too much in our heads and lose perspective sooo excellent work on ur analysis sounds good!
