Comforting dream

I dreamed I was in a very large house with dark wood floors and walls, old leather furniture, comfortable. Everything was in dark browns and reds, a few golds here and there. And I went upstairs and flopped down on a very nice, comfy bed.

The dream skipped as all my dreams tend to do. And there was a man, tall, muscled, bald, with bright blue eyes and a soft, sweet smile. He Settled down on the floor, and pulled me down with him. I grabbed one of his feet and started to massage it--I do this for boyfriends. I'm a bit of a server in that sense. He smiled and took my foot and started to do the same. I found myself telling him that I had ugly feet and he really shouldnt but he shushed me with a hand to my mouth (he didnt speak) and then went back to rubbing my feet while I rubbed his. I blushed because I realized that I hadnt shaved my legs and I was in one of my raggedy outfits I use to sleep in. You know, ugly pants, and a shirt with holes in it that I got way back...like...in the -eighties-. He just chuckled lightly when I apologized for what I was wearing, ran a hand over one of my hairy legs, patted it, and went back to my foot.

The whole dream was a very comfortable, warm feelinged thing. I was smiling when I woke up.

I'm wondering if it has to do with the relationship I'm in now. The fact that he makes me feel so comfortable no matter what, or if it has another meaning entirely. I read that feet sometimes are a pun for the Soul. (sole of the foot, get it?) And he was, in essence taking my sole and rubbing it, soothing it. I'm just wondering if its that or something else. Please feel free. I keep wondering why we ended up on the floor on pillows instead of the bed, too.

You are right, this relationship is perfect for you, you have met your "sole" mate. Sitting on the floor shows that you are both grounded, which means that this is a strong relationship that will grow roots and flower into something beautiful.

Thank you so much for the confirmation. My dreams are wonderful at 'punning things up' so to speak -_- but in all honesty I was hoping that my interpretation was correct. I never thought about the floor thing the way you said it, but it makes sense. Our relationship is very settled in honesty and mutual satisfaction, which is a brand new thing for me. I was hoping the male in my dream was standard for how I felt about him. He was muscled and large. My boyfriend isnt, but a man like that makes me feel safe and cared for, and so does Joe. So it works. ^_^
