my ex and i are in his car. we're driving to his apt so he can show me his dog. once we get there we notice that the porch light has been broken and is now on the ground. we come inside to find that everything has been vandalized. we find his dog, but it has somehow turned into a stuffed animal. i pick it up and hold onto it tightly. suddenly a group of people come into the apt. it is my ex's gf and a bunch of other people. my ex holds me close while i'm hanging tight onto him with one arm and tight onto the stuffed dog with the other. we try to fight off the group and protect each other and the dog, but we're out numbered. they hold us hostage in the apt. one guy that is a part of the group starts to torture my ex. he starts poking my ex with needles, like he's threading the needle with my ex's skin. i see it's making him bleed and i start to cry. he shows no emotion towards the group torturing him and instead comforts and kisses me.

For a young woman to dream that she is a captive, denotes that she will have a husband who will be jealous of her confidence in others; or she may be censured for her indiscretion. To dream of being tortured, denotes that you will undergo disappointment and grief through the machination of false friends. If you are trying to alleviate the torture of others, you will succeed after a struggle in business and love. To kiss your sweetheart in the dark, denotes dangers and immoral engagements. Hi,
If one dreamt he/she was a hostage means he will keep away from a sin.******* If dreamt his child or his wife was a hostage means someone will oppress him. If dreamt someone was his hostage means that a person will need him. Some interpreters say if he was a hostage means his belief is spoiled. The clothed one/38. If one dreamt he had a needle and was sewing something means his affairs will arrange and he will achieve his wish. If dreamt he sewed his own cloth means his situation will get better and will achieve his wish. If dreamt his needle was lost means his situation will get worse and won't achieve his hope. If dreamt someone robbed his needle means his affairs will get bad. If dreamt he poke a needle in a place or injected someone means he will have a good and happy ending and will achieve his wish. If one received an injection or was pocked by a needle means he will receive goodness.*******8 If dreamt someone gave him a needle means that person is deploring for him. If dreamt he had many needles means his affairs are arranged.

Have you started to realise that the breakup may have hurt him and that sometimes he may act in ways which seem irrational.
------------------------ People expect too much from dream dictionaries. Can you really expect a dream dictionary to provide an explanation of what your dream means simply because it included a particular symbol? It’s an absurd suggestion. The best comparison is to expect someone what a sentence means by just giving them one word within it. For instance to ask someone what a sentence means that includes the word "soldier". In reality the process in almost impossible. There are so many different ways that the word can be used that interpreting the dream just by spotting one word within it is simply ridiculous. The word soldier can be used in many different ways such as "I need to soldier on", "we have not got enough soldiers in Iraq", and "I want to be a soldier when I grow up". So why do people expect a dream interpreter to be able to simply understand a dream by the inclusion of one symbol. In practice dream symbolism work in much the same way as ordinary dictionaries. A soldier can represent themselves but they can also be used in a wider context to show the types of qualities that a soldier exhibits (toughness and the ability to endure hardship and follow rules). So think how anyone of those symbolic meanings relates to recent events. It’s really important to use a process of association. Associate the dream symbol with real life thoughts. First ask yourself if the symbol could represent itself. Did you think of any real life soldiers the day before? But also consider the qualities that soldier’s exhibit. Did those same qualities have any relevance the day before? Did you need to follow rules and be disciplined? Did the same seem like a constant struggle? Also consider the day to come and see how that relates to possible symbolic meanings. Did you resolve to soldier on in some difficult situation? Work though all the symbols in the same way and see what real life issues can best fit the real situation in your life. But also consider telepathy and premonitions as they too are part of the many aspects of dreaming. You are flat out wrong uncle. The book Ten Thousand Dreams Interpreted is the leading authority on dream interpretation. What can a mere whim or thought a quote un-quote "seer" may have after reading someone's dream tell about a person's future? This dream book, http://www.freewebtown.com/godisking...nterpreted.pdf , was derived by years of psychoanalysis, comparing what happened with subjects after they had dreamt of certain objects, and also some predictions were derived from esoteric ways. I have been using this book ever since 2004, and every single prediction has come true these past 4 years, hundreds upon hundreds of times. I highly doubt the mere thoughts caused by the firing of synapses after a person reads someone's dream data can produce and provide accurate dream interpretation. Get your facts straight before you mislead a population.

Hi, Yosef
Thanks for posting the link with the dream dictionary. Dictionaries can be really helpful for better understanding of symbols, especially in the case of prophetic dreams. I was surprised more than once how dream symbols revealed the future events that were to take place... especially when interpreted by people on this site. However, as the book that you suggest says, dreams can be different types. Not every dream is prophetic, not every dream is symbolic and sometimes a dream refers to the current state of mind of the person, to some personal issues that he/she has to face and cope with. Dreams speak in various ways, so people expect different types of interpretation, and dream dictionary is not always enough. I don't know how this works, but usually an interpretation on the site helps me a whole lot Just thoughts... thanks again for the link Wish you all the best and sweet dreams Sugar |

Quote:
If you need a dream dictionary to interpret it means that you don't know much about dreams. A dream dictionary is one persons opinion of what a dream might mean to him or her. In real dream situations the dreamers subconscious bases the dream on the sleepers personal experiences and creates the dream according to the needs of the sleeper. A dream dictionary may be a good read but it should be treated as a work of fiction. You should forget about the dictionary and read the interpretations of the posters. You might learn something from Sirbobbyrobson! Cheers Wolfjk

Well the dream features your ex being tortured. Maybe this lionks to some underlying bitterness that you have towards him. Some inability to let go of bad feelings. Iften we wish the worst for our exs because they have caused us so much pain
------------------------ Many people write dream diaries. But actually it would be better if they wrote a normal diary. A diary is basically the highlights of the previous day and the things that are important to you. Dreams are exactly the same. Once understood they would symbolize those key moments and turning points in your feelings. So instead of interpreting the dreams try first to guess what the most likely issues are that you would dream about. Think of exactly the same things that you would write in a diary. Once decoded the dreams would symbolize exactly what you think on the key subjects dominating your mind. Think of quotes that capture your feelings such as "my father seems very quiet. I think that something is very wrong. He often starts going quiet when something happens". You may not be able to understand the exact nature of the symbols. http://unclesirbobby.100mb.com/dreamessayhowtopost.php Interpreting dreams http://unclesirbobby.100mb.com/dreamessayhowto.php Triggers for dreams http://unclesirbobby.100mb.com/dreamessay.php Dream dictionary |
