Default Child drowning or being pulled away by current.

I have had 5 dreams since my son was born, 4 within the last week that he is drowning (falling in water, being pulled under by current, ect.) In a few of them I do get to him, in others I do not. He is 2 years and 3months old at this time. Any ideas would be helpful.

Hi,
In dream language immatured children are samples of their parents boys are symbol for their father.
So,
If he fell into a river his father will acquaint or work with a big man or a boss.
If he was drowned and again was up means his father will pay attention some more to spiritual affairs.
Don't worry dreams are in indirect saying symbols that should be translated and yours are about his father nothing bad is there.
Good luck.

Hello Ktomczak,
The mind is very efficient in it's processes, and often multi plane dreams come into play. These are dreams that work to gain awareness on one or more fronts simultaneously.
Other than the obvious meaning that shows that by being a parent, there is now an added degree of anxiety in your life, this dream explores another related thought, giving it a wider window of meaning and greater importance.

This dream, in a point blank fashion, places the role of responsibility of parenthood on you.
You are also being reminded, that as a parent you have continuous responsibility for the safety of your child. The wider meaning being conveyed... As a parent your own inner child (at times) must "die" so that you can effectively contribute to the growth and safety of your own child.

Often, the subconscious mind conveys, that which seems obvious...but bringing these things to conscious awareness is very important in the greater scheme of things. Rather than a dream that just tells you why you might be a nervous wreck at times, it is a visual reminder that transfers the overall parental role upon you. Sure, there will be times when you want to be a child yourself,to be one with less responsibilities, but you must extinguish this aspect in you, when it comes to keeping your child safe(and taking on the parental role).

One might think that, "this is a bit strange for the mind to tell me something that I already know". When in reality, by the mind offering this awareness in a spaced repetition fashion, the parental role becomes ingrained. As a result you can more easily understand and accept the anxieties that reside within you associated to parenthood, and understand importance of your role as parent.
The subconscious mind offers balance through awareness.

Hi

Well dreams if truly understood would link to real life feelings. Many dreams link to the inner workings of the mind - they concentrate on intuitions and dilemmas. I try to translate these into understandable english. Your dream seems to link to this pivotal quote

"you of all people should know"

Its showing that there is some link to your own communication. He expects you to pick up on things but you want him to talk more openly. Its like you are both blaming each other.

Ignore the dream and its details. Its just showing the basic relationship between you. Its not linking to something like a premonition

------------------------
Dreams seem to be linked to brain functions. The dream mind is a conceptual one in that it links to higher thinking. Ideas of an intellectual nature come from the dream mind. But emotional feelings are also part of our higher thinking. They too are quite sophisticated by nature. Dreams compare one thing to another. Dreams also tend to use any symbol in as deeper a way as they can. Therefor a war will hardly ever represent some actual war but will rather represent some symbolic battle within your mind or some relationship that is verging on warfare.
