Stopping a murder/Suicide in Dream

Hi,

First post here!

Had a dream last night, it was very strange!?! I was younger than I am now, possibly teen age years and our family had moved to a smaller town. We bought a huge house with a massive front yard. As I entered the house I felt scared and had a sense that it was haunted. I walked up some stairs and then a door opened on its own to my right. There was a stove with smoke coming out of it. Not sure what happened next however I think I found another stove, opened it and it was set up like a bomb to explode when it reached a certain temperature. I ran from the house thinking it was haunted because the door opened on its own and that there would be a fire due to the stoves. Next, i was was across the street with a family I did not know. Police and fire were on the scene and we saw a woman with kids in a top floor window of the house. Apparently, she had set the stoves and was planning on killing her family and herself. Then I was at my parents house (I lived there at this house age 17- 21). My parents were not home and I planned to have a few friends over - these friends were work friends from my present career. All of the sudden the house was packed with people I see on tv and in the news. Someone had walked with muddy shoes up he stairs. My Mom came home and was furious, the mud for some reason could not be cleaned.

I am currently married, no kids and moving to a new house in 3 weeks. nothing bad happening in my life, actually very excited to get into our new house (currently renting and now purchasing and not the first time buying a house) life is good...

What does this mean?

Hi,

You were younger means you will make a mistake perhaps while driving or something very slighter .
A door opened means achieving a wish or acceptance a prayer.
Stove means wife of the house or someone who serves.
Smoke means some oppression.
If the bomb was exploided would mean a big news that your nake in it something a a list at the local paper.

Your age, sex and location is needed to help the interpretation.

sometimes dreams will take you to a different place. They shopw you what can happen. We are just exploring the worst possible scenario. Its maybe the minds way of bringing balance. When we feel good we need to be brought down to reality. Maybe your feeling too good and need taking down a peg or two.

If people truly knew the meaning of their dreams they would be quite surprised. Many have helped perpetuate the myth that dreams are really deep and meaningful. True some are but the majority of dreams are simply part of our brain functions. They help us clarify everyday issues. These are very important at the time but
are far from being crucial in the overall scheme of things. Freud and others talk of the deeper dreams. But that is only because of their interest in psychology. They also speak of lots of other dreams that are insignificant and just linked to the previous day. But these dreams are interesting in themselves. They too show how the brain works. So simple dreams with meanings like "I need to spend more time on my studies" are important. If we can understand the simple dreams we can apply knowledge gained to solve the more trickier dreams.
