Strange Writing

I was walking on a stree in a city on the west coast of the U.S. I was passing a big brick schoolhouse and came to a section where there was a window. Looking inside, I could see pink, black, and white granite with strange symbols on it. Then I came to a field where a teacher was teaching a group of children to read. I was amazed how she could multi task and then I found some yellow cards with my handwriting on them.

Could this be about yourself trying to learn how to interpret (read) your own dreams? Just what do all of those strange symbols mean? Yellow - perhaps you are a bit *afraid* of what they mean on some level.

I see that Catseye, views this dream as I do.
I will add that granite, seen in the context that it is presented in your dream shows that you feel a draw or an association to dreams. The notion crosses your mind that the knowledge that is conveyed in dreams is somewhat spiritual or from a higher source and therefore, valuable knowledge.
I see the yellow as a color of hope and anticipation. The black represents the subconscious mind and the pink represents the feelings and emotions that come with the understanding of dreams. All of these aspects are integral parts of our dreams... and you sense all of what I have just mentioned. There is an inference, that perhaps and you are coming to this realization later in life, or better said, with wisdom of maturity.
