a note: I'm portuguese-canadian
I was pretty much all over the place last night, but the part that really striked me was when I was going down what was supposed to be the street I grew up on in real life. and there were oldish houses, one of them was haunted, and there were these people (canadians) who wanted to rent the haunted house, they actually went inside and I saw them inside, and it actually seemed livable, with dishes and stuff in the kitchen. This portuguese lady with dark hair came around and didnt let them stay, instead they put them with our house which was more of a rented house. so im like ok we are 6 people here but we should all fit, trying to be nice, all that. and then later I am sitting in the kitchen, and looking at these booklets, they had what was supposed to be Disney sketches from the Lion King (no I do not have little siblings or have I watched it a million times lol). But the Lions in them all had their mouths wide open with huge detail in their teeth and such. There were two types of these, one was rounder in shape, the other was just large. interpretations and advice welcome. Maybe it has to do with my recent troubles with unprofessional employers Last edited by starseed : 02-07-2008 at 09:19 AM. |

I just remembered something else in my dream, I was wearing a muslim woman's ihab (cloak thing, sorry I don't know what it's called very well) over my head at a certain point, and it was kind of colourful. after a while i became aware that it was stupid, and took it off. really strange....btw I grew up catholic and only know a bit about the Muslim religion...

This dream has to do with a need that you have to become strong, to re-evaluate how you think of yourself. One way that we, as a species, do this, is by acknowledgment of who we are as a person (feeling strength as we contemplate our roots). This is almost as if you are reconnecting with your ancient past (symbolizing wisdom from our ancestors that builds through the ages. Our subconscious mind has access to this aspect within. It is uncommon wisdom that we carry from generation to generation. I know this sounds a bit on the edge but it has been documented...Carl Jung, Edgar Cayce etc.
The point is, when we are feeling less than the person that we know that we are, a part of us kicks in and gives us strength and pride to help us deal with the situations at hand. I believe this is the multi colored muslim regalia that you wear. It symbolized the strength that you have within you as a result of your diverse and ancient heritage. This dream gathers all aspects of who you are and says that together you can and will face whatever situation that you face. As well there is symbolism that shows that this is a temporary situation. sailrmc |

Hi,
If you are female and had muslim Hijab like a cloak means you will receive some dignity and sometimes it means a marriage. But if you are male it means you will receive some fears. Lion means the government or a politician.

I believe that dreams can symbolise real emotional feelings that we either feel about things that have just happened(yesterday) or they maybe about premonitions of emotions that we are shortly to feel.
HAUNTING: some really spooky and scarey thought LION KING : a real threat(a lion) but also something more comic and cartoon like Often we fear something . But sometimes we judge a threat less real than is perhaps the case. We see someone trying to put forward a persona... as a scarey and threatening .. yet we come across as more cartoon than real. so look at real life. What and who could have triggered this dream. What real threats appeared the day before? (the lion) and what fears did you feel were not justified (as in the haunted house) ------------------------ The dreams we have are very much related to the brain and how it devotes time to the pressing needs in our lives. The dream mind can decide to try to look at the bigger picture. In other words we may suddenly stand back and take a good long look at our lives. We may ask what is the point of carrying on with a job that we hate or a relationship that is falling apart. So in that way the intuitive mind may decide to take an objective look at the reality of our lives. At other times the dream mind will be content to get caught up in the little issues in our lives. It may wonder if we should get ourselves a new hair cut or if we should decide to get a new digital TV. So the dreams we have will sometimes reflect the bigger and important long view but also expect them to get caught up in the seemingly mundane issues of everyday life. Try to see what type of a mood you are in. If you suddenly feel as if you are thinking more in the long term then look at your dreams in that way. They are likely to link to general issues and about the bigger picture and how you live your life. They may reflect your own personality and some changes that you are trying to bring about.
