dreamt i had no legs!

i'd love it if someone could make sense of this one: I dreamt i had no legs and it was wierd cuz i was given an option of either cutting my legs at the knees and having some prosthetics or else cut the entire legs and i opted to cut the entire legs! crazy! and i was SO OK with it...like, i handled it with such strength. they fitted me with metallic prosthetic legs that were somehow permanent and screwed right into the hip bone! i know this sounds insane but this has got to be symbolic of something? it was insanely real as all my dreams are. i can sleep 12-13 hours and have vivid dreams. pretty insane.

I dreamt I was at school and next minute I was in hospital and I also had the option of amputation of both legs so I chose below the knees which seemed easy enough to let them go ahead and do it and then I was back at school again (even though ive been out of school for 2 years now) and had the prosthetic legs on and it seem ok to show people them but I dont know what this means because I have had 2 dreams showing that I was gettin my legs amputated, Would be much appreciated if someone could tell me what this means.

There is a simple answer to your dream! In your sleep your legs had pins-and-needles and gone numb. Your subconscious was trying to explain to you what was happening in the sleep.
If someone were watching you in the sleep, he/she would have seen you move your legs, change sleeping positions and get rid of the numbness in your legs! All without you realising what happened to you in the sleep! You left with the memory of the dream that seems crazy However in reality your dream was solving a problem that happened in your sleep!
