help with dream interpretation

This is a dream I stopped having a couple years ago but i have always wondered what it could have meant so now that I have found this site I thought I would ask.
I one night had a dream that my sister had a baby (at the time my sister was 16) she named her baby Chelsea Rowena and the dream mainly focused around her being a new mom. affter this first dream I started having other dreams that had nothing to do with my sister, they would be completely random dreams but Chelsea Rowena would be in them. in each dream she seemed to get older, She went from being a baby to a tooddler to a little girl to a middle schooler, etc. after about a year I had a dream that chelsea Rowena was about 18, she was on a swing spinning herself around, then she got up and started to run down a path, after a bit she turned around, waved to me, and ran off. that was the last time I had a dream about her. any thoughts?

Typically this type of dream (presented in the context that you have) shows awareness of something within you as relayed by your niece (using your niece as a role player in your dream).
The subconscious mind always tries to keep the dreamer mindful of who he/or she is and marks the progress through life. Why? It is believed that it's efforts to show from whence we come and a clear path way through life will give us a better sense of self and where we are going.
A more blatant way of putting this (as Carl Jung states in his writings) is that our dreams track our mortality. This dream is one of those. It shows a very young girl grow to the point where she has gained independence and enough confidence to go on her own way. This is exactly what we all must do in life and is probably pointing to a time that you have or will be facing soon. The awareness is a wake up call, a kind of how am I doing now dream saying OK you have had your learning time, you have had your play time, you have been a bit mixed up in your direction but now is the time to get on your path and to find your way. Of course I am speaking of the time in your life when it was actually presented to you.
The subconscious mind is a wonderful gift and when we take time to bring it's messages into conscious (or waking life), we can actively control our lives. Since the subconscious mind has no direct control to command our activities during waking hours, bring it's messages into our conscious lives allows us to takes it mentorship and suggestions and implement them into our lives. One more thing, the conscious mind is our free will. It can take or leave any suggestion and do whatever it wants. It has full command of our actions.

Hi,
To have a baby girl then a little girl and grewing older means that at that time your sister has had some blessing and happiness in the daily day life happenings.
But with saying good by that happiness had come to an end.
