Default Reocurring dream

I usually have very vivid, kind of strange dreams but I have never had reocurring dreams. however over the past couple months I keep having this dream where I'm in a play and I keep forgetting all my lines and then i remember them and start doing the scene but I'm doing really really badly at it but i can't change it and I know that it sucks and I keep like talking really quietly and stummbling over the lines and stuff but I can't do it better. The exact details of the dream vary but it's the same kind of thing every time. any thoughts on what this could mean would be very helpful

Hi,
OH DEAR! I gether you are interested in amateur acting and had some embarrassing experiences with forgetting your lines and losing the plot.
Your subconscious is using your fear of repeating these bad experiences to wake you up.
Your dreams are waking dreams that happen near morning. You should not worry about them! Now you brought it out into the open your subconscious will find another embarrassing subject to wake you up with!
Cheers Wolfjk

well I have been involved in amateur theatre. i did a lot of ascting in highschool but haven't really done any since i graduated last spring because I've been concentrating on other things. I have never had any embarrassing moments on stage though, or done anything that I'm scared of repeating.
thank you for your reply though!

The subconscious sets priorities as to which subjects to address. Fear is the number priority and you are getting one of those dreams showing you what is causing you fear at this time. This translates to anxieties which left unattended will only get bigger.
What should you do as a result of the dream? First you should become very well prepared, almost automatic with your lines. This does a couple of things. It will allow you to concentrate more on emotions that need to conveyed with the lines AND it will reduce anxieties.
Of course anxiety can be easily overcome when you get in front of a live audience. Nothing is better than the confidence that rehearsal will provide. When you hear the first sigh or laugh (any appropriate response) from the audience I believe that your fears will go away.
I have spent much time on stage but not in an acting role...still the anxieties are the same. There is nothing more rewarding than an audience that you have in your grip, believe me.

littlegirl,

This dream seems to speak of attempting to play a part correctly but being unsuccessful at it. Is there a situation in your life right now where you feel you aren't being yourself? This could relate to relationships with friends, co-workers, or family in that you may be putting up an "act" and stumbling over what to say and even how to compose yourself? Perhaps you've felt as if many are watching you, even concerned about what they make think of you? If this is true, let me just say that your Creator has made you unique and wonderful to be who you are. Find your identity in Him and He will give you the assurance you need to be who you've been created to be!

hepseaksindreams,
your interpratation makes a lot of sense. I have been feeling a lot lately that i am trying to do somehting and not being successful and felt worried about what people have thought of me. Thanks for your response.
