Painting murals

I dreamed I was helping to paint some big murals. One of them was dark blue with stars, like a night sky. The people in the dream were dressed in clothing from the 60's. I have never dreamed this before, but I have in real life painted murals on my childrens walls. Never a night sky though. What do you think it means?

Well I was born in the 60's I suppose it could be a flashback but it would have to be to my previous life, LOL
I am often decieved byt he material world for sure, and I do have a useless job that I am ok with, but its not what I want to do. I dont know about soldiers, my niece in law is a soldier. Scientists, I only know a future scientist, my daughter.

This is likely a dream that occurred before or just after another dream showing the awareness that you have as to the importance of dreams and to what they might be saying (their meanings). I have read many dreams in which the parallel story line shows the dreamer being an artist who comes to realization of inner feelings and emotions by bringing them out through their artistic creations. In essence this is what we do when our subconscious mind creates a dream. They are paintings that explore our inner universe, past present and even future. The people from the 60's likely represent aspects of you when you first started looking at dreams as something more than entertainment. I am guessing that you wondered early on in life about just what role dreams were to play in your life. What was their significance?

Maybe, my dad talked about his dreams all the time and I would go out of body as a child but I thought I was at first dying and then dreaming.
I'm a writer, I guess thats artistic. Art with words.

Many people think that there dreams link to the facts of their lives. But often we take people with us in dreams which define who we are. This dream links to your own creative talents. The wish to explore such a side of you again. In short it just shows that at the time of te deam you wnated to be a little more like this. Perhaps it does link to this useless job as you describe it. If our personality is being twarted then we will try to find an outlet for it in dreams. Say if we feel attracted to a certain person then the dreams may show us exploring such fantasies. Its similar to that. Its not so much fantasy ... rather itrs more you trying to motivate yourself and switch to a different way of living.

So if you do not sleep then you will not be updating your thoughts. You will not be building a bigger picture.
