Dark sky, rainbow, lightning, road

Hi everyone,
I had a wierd dream....I know what some of it may be about, but I'm mostly stumped about the symbols in the title. I appreciate you help!

I dreamed that I became reaquainted with a boy who was in my first grade class. (In real life, I knew very little of him, other than he was always in trouble....my brothers picked on me because they said I "loved" him. I haven't seen him since I was 6 years old). I'll call him "John".
In my dream, "John" appears as an 11 year old (I'm in my 30's). I was thrilled to see him, especially when I found he played the trombone (I'm a music teacher.) I remember saying, "I haven't seen you since 5th grade! It's wonderful to see you!"
I invited him to join our band. I arranged to have him and I play in a concert together.

Meanwhile, I got a message from an old high school classmate of mine that "John" had a secret past. I got pictures of "John" from my classmate. He was young, and had a rattle in his hand, and the message said he was taken away to California. It was embarrassing info about John, so I told John before the info went public. I remember feeling VERY protective, almost motherly to him at this point, and for the rest of the dream.

Next, we are getting ready fo our concert. THe setting was the music college I attended., After setting up, the concert was cancelled due to the bad weather. "John" and I left the concert hall with my husband, leaving our instruments behind. I was afraid something would happen to them.

Then, "John" and I were in our van, with my husband driving. "John" was in the back, because he was a kid. We were driving down a deserted country road, when I noticed a beautiful rainbow to my right. It then moved in front of us. It was very vivid, the sky was black, and lightning was flashing. I was in awe at the sight. We came to a fork in the road. We could go straight toward the rainbow, or bear left away from it. My husband turns left.

We end up at a school bus garage, that was surrounded by a field. I was surprised, because there was no school around. The buses were from a school district I used to work for in real life. There were no people around. The names on the door included the name of my former ob/gyn doctor, who in real life retired. That's when I woke up.

I know this was long. I SINCERELY appreciate any ideas!

Hi...That is some dream! Could it be that, the boy represents trouble, your husband driving and choice of direction represents a bad decision by him choosing the darker path instead of the rainbow. Is there something you have recently been in conflict with your husband about? The fork in the road being your choice and his? I'm pretty new at this, but sometimes even a little bit of someone else's ideas can trigger something!! Good luck! Laura

Thanks for the insight. My husband and I are not having any troubles, but after some reflection, I think I figured some of this out.

The dream is a mix of my work life, and my personal life.
A couple a days ago, I had a student that I've been teaching music class to since 1st grade, joined my band. (He is now around 11 years old, like the boy in the dream). I was excited to have him, because he's talented. He's the same ethnicity as the boy in my dream (whom I knew in real life in 1st grade, 30 years ago.) The student of mine, however, is no trouble.

The concert being cancelled because of bad weather.....school (and my band rehearsals) were cancelled today because of very bad weather.

The part of driving with my husband. He chose a clear path to a bus garage instead of the path with the rainbow with dark skies and lightning.
The name of my former ob/gyn is on the door of ther bus garage, which is in an empty field.
I'm having some medical ob/gyn issues. I am uncertain and worried about them. I often wish my old doctor was still practicing, because I haven't been too lucky with doctors lately.
I feel so uncertain about things right now. I think my husband was driving in the dream because he wants to be there for me (he sat beside me in the van).
The boy was in the back of the van in the dream. In real life, I'm concerned about how my health, or possible treatments for my condition may affect my job performance. I take my job to heart, and there is no one who is qualified to take my place, even temporarily. I'm afraid of the kids falling behind. (Boy behind me.)
In real life, the boy was always in trouble. In the dream, he had a secret life. In real life, I haven't told anyone at work about my health issue (secret), and I'm afraid that it may affect my job performance. The health problem is causing me "trouble."

I appreciate all of you who read this. Sometimes it takes me a while to figure the dreams out.
WHenever you wonder what a dream means, think about what is going on in your life. Even the little things that seem unimportant. In many cases, your dreams may be about many different unrelated things.

Another note, the night before last, I dreamed that I was pregnant with child #4. I didn't know how I was going to handle it.
In real life, another child is not possible, but there may be something in my womb that is giving me my health issues. (I won't find out for sure for a couple of weeks.)

Lala is right a boy means a sorrow is on the way.
A dark sky also is the same a sorrow.

If one dreamt there was more yellow color in the rainbow means people in that region will get ill.
If dreamt there was more green color means the blessing and livelihood will increase in that region.
If dreamt there was more red color means the livelihood will decrease in that region.

Lightning is interpreted as a treasurer or a judge that condemns a covetous person.
If one dreamt he took a lightning from the sky means he will do something that has a goodness.
If dreamt the lightning was shine means a year of blessing specially if there was a mild wind too.
Lightning or electricity may also mean 1- a treasurer 2- a bad promise 3- reproach 4- blessing 5- a true way of life.
