Same theme every night - what's it mean?

Nearly every night, I have violent dreams. I'm always be chased by something menacing and violent, usually men, once in a while monsters. It wants to kill me or hurt me badly and they're always much stronger than me. I just barely escape and then I retaliate and manage to kill them, often saving other people in the process. The dreams are full of shooting guns, knives, explosions, fires. I know that chase dreams are supposed to symbolize some type of struggle in my life, but if I always kill the thing chasing me, shouldn't the dreams stop?

Its difficult to say. To me dreams symbolise your thoughts and if the chasing links to harassments in your life then thats because you have problems and hassles.

Personally I do not believe that if you turn anbd face your chaser in dreams it makes any difference. Dreams to me just identify problems. I do not personally think that they offer advice.

I just think that the dreams show that negative hassles and problems aar in your life at the moment

Pick out crucial moments from the previous day and see how the emotions and feelings are replayed. Many dreams simply capture the emotions that we feel - many simply capture emotions that are easy to recognise such as happiness, sadness and frustration. When we watch a TV show it may not bear any direct relation to our own real lives but still we can identify with the characters in simple ways. So forget the detailed plot of a dream and just try to get a clue from the dreams simple emotions. Then see what relevance they have to your own life. How do the characters in the dream feel and how are they similar to your own real life?

To kill someone means to help him to have a problem solved.
Shooting means sending a message.
Knife means love.
