4 strange caskets I mustn't be caught with

This is my first time here. It seems that there are a lot of folks here who have no problem interpreting fairly cryptic dreams, and I am hoping that perhaps someone might share some of their insight with me.

In my dream, I am carrying around 4 caskets in the back of a pickup truck, covered with a tarp so that no one can see them. The caskets are unique; for some reason, I just "know" they are military caskets, and they are oddly shaped and sized, about 2 feet high, 2 feet wide, 3 feet long, and the sides (lengthwise) slope in toward the top. In other words, the ends of the coffin look like trapezoids...or pyramids with no apex. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but since I remember it so clearly, I've included it.

I drive around at night, trying to figure out how to get rid of these caskets that are in my possession, somehow knowing that I shouldn't have them and that I could be in big trouble if someone discovers that I have them. I have the feeling that it is actually illegal to have them.

I finally stop at a building (I think it's a hospital) and decide that if I can just get them in unnoticed and leave them on an elevator, someone will know what to do with them, and I'll be out of this mess. Strangely, I am able to carry two at the same time, holding each by the edge at the end, pressed against me and kind of duck-walking in. Somehow I do go unnoticed and get them on an elevator, where I leave them, press a floor button and walk out of the elevator quickly, then out through the lobby to get the last two from the truck. As I am getting close to the door, I hear an alarm go off somewhere in the building, and I immediately feel that someone has discovered them, that I AM going to be caught...and at this point, I wake up.

There have been some really big changes in my life in the last year, and I've decided not to go into those so as not to cloud someone's interpretation of this dream with my own thoughts. If anyone thinks I should mention those, I'll be glad to.

The reason that I am asking for input on this dream is that, to me, it is very unsettling. I realize that the caskets are symbolic of something, and so is the supposed "illegal" nature of my possession of them. Still, I feel the need to mention that I'm not an axe murderer or grave robber, possess nothing illegal, drive under the speed limit and stop to move turtles out of the road. So being that I know these symbolisms are not literal, my concern is that my subconscious is using terms that extreme to get my attention. Is it warning me, and if it is, what is it warning me of?

I must say thanks very much in advance to anyone who might like to give their opinion on this one!

Ok, here I go!

I get the feeling that the caskets represent some old thoughts, or old rigid (as expressed by your understanding that the caskets are military in nature) beliefs that you are conscious you are carrying with you but you are trying to off load.

The question of the illegality of seems to be more of a construct of your sleeping mind. There is nothing other than your belief that having these items is illegal. And maybe there is some connection there with how you view these old thoughts/beliefs that you are carrying.

Regarding trying to ditch the caskets in the elevator of an old hospital, I get: hospitals - are a place of illness, but also a place where (hopefully) one gets better; elevators - are movement - up and down movement.

If dreamt he fell from the coffin on the ground or the people let him fall means he will lose his dignity and his affairs will be closed.

I notice that you are fortunate to receive prompt replies to your posting; interesting; there must be many online at the moment waiting for a challenge so here's my two cents worth.

You are in a dangerous situation (possibly unwittingly caused) where it is imperative to get an immediate resolution without the issue being noticed and you are struggling to find one.
