sequel dreaming
When I was a young child, I started having this dream. As I have gotten older, it has gotten longer, more vivid and detailed... I still have not reached the conclusion... maybe never will.
I am standing in a tall grassy field around late afternoon. At first I feel at peace. Then I feel a sense of urgency come over me. I have to run. As I turn around to run, there appears a thick dark forest. Large trees but very clear ground underneath. little to no undergrowth. As I run into the forest, I am running on a path and I realize I have to get off the path and out of harms way. I climb the nearest tree, literally digging my hands into the deep bark. I reach two thrids the way up and there are swinging bridges hangin in thin air through the trees. I begin to run across these. the fear and terror are increasing. I begin to hear what is chasing me. Loud ferocious roars coming from behind and below. they appear as two tigers and they are closing the distance between us. I can see the forest edge coming up fast and I realize I will have no tree top haven soon. I run faster to put a little distance behind us as the forest ends. A clearing appears very shallow with a large stone wall extending as far as the eye can see in either direction. there is a large wooden door. I can hear the tigers getting closer. I bang on the door and on the third bang the door opens. As I get inside in a flurry of panic, I hear the tigers on the other side. I have a slight thought of safety but still wary as I do not know where I am. I turn around find myself in a large cathedral like room with huge stained glass windows everywhere (later on in life, my consious can not reconsile the windowless wall with all the windows... it would cause me to wake and then fall asleep, coming back to right after the window part). There is a man with his back to me standing the the center of the room. The only light is from the windows so the center of the room is dim.
the man has a king cape on: red fabric with white fur trim/ black specs in the trim. no crown though. as I step closer to him, he begins to turn around. I first I am afraid to look at him but as I raise my eyes to see his face.
I wake up.
