I was dreaming that I was taking part to my sister's wedding. At some point I saw my self in an empty room like a warehouse and there was a cat eating a worm. Seconds after she swallowed it, she started changing colors and pouncing until she felt over its head, became brown color and then died.
I feel so disgusted after I woke up and I also feel weird as I don't know if this dream means something. I never had a cat in my life. |

Well what are your feelings to the wedding? do you like here fiance?
did it seem like a pet cat? what were your feelings towards the cat? wormas are generally unpleasant creatures and will link to unpleasant emotions . What unpleasant emotiojns have you twoardss the your sisters wedding? some feelings of disgust? ------------------ One way of telling how vital dreams are is to study people who are deprived of sleep and dreams.Sleep deprivation is very dangerous if it continues for extended periods. If you are deprived of sleep for several days then you will slip into madness. The reason for this is that sleep and dreams are linked to vital brain functions. During the day we store up new thoughts and experiences within short term memory blocks. So if we are deprived sleep these become overloaded. The mind has no more space to store new feelings so these are merely forgotten. During sleep vital brain waves emerge. Beta waves and theta waves are only ever detected within the brain at night. These help us process through those new feelings and experiences stored in short term memory. We integrate these new feelings into long term memory blocks. So if you do not sleep then you will not be updating your thoughts. You will not be building a bigger picture. These cat dreams are something else. Years ago, I dreamed that my cat was passing large, brown, flat round objects which resembled excretion. Needless to say, it was a quite a disgusting, disturbing dream. Later on, I discovered my cat was pregnant. Does anyone think there is a link? or just coincidental?

I've met someone recently and although we were completely strangers we communicated and spent some hours together. (no sex though) I met him on line through Facebook. It was me who asked him to be a Facebook friend. He comes from my country and had an interesting profile page, photo etc. When I visited my country I decided to meet him, as we both had discussed via mailing. Now he wants to visit me here in England and spend a weekend with me. Do you think that the cat is me and the worm is this guy? Does the dream mean that he can. in a way, poison me? By the way the cat didn't seem to be somebody's pet. Just a street cat, quite dirty.. Last edited by xan : 01-22-2008 at 11:51 AM. |

well its amazing how much sense dreams make when some relevant background information is given.
The wedding signifies your hopes of a serious relatuionship leading to marriage. Here something goes wrong for the cat so this dream links to your fears about the relationship. That you have swallowed something that seems quite good yet maybe truly poisonous.. that yoiu are drawn into a relationship that is really quite bad. ------------------------ There is absolutely no way of truely knowing what a dream means. The dream language is not one that is easy to understand. There is no way to check if your interpretation is the correct one. There is no answer at the back of the book that is correct. Dreams do seem to link to recent events and in particular the day before. But they can also refer to premonitions and telepathy. Dreams then can work on many levels. Many people say that there are exxagerated claims about premonitions. It maybe true that a premonition can never be truely linked to some actual real life event. Yet it is also true that a conventional dream analyser can never truely say that a dream is linked to the dreamers own pyschology and recent thinking. All we can do is guess and hope that we have true understanding. Many dreams remain a mystery. We know that they may link to some event but their precise meaning seems often truely mysterious.
